@ellie3637 Put it inbetween two wet tissue papers and cover it in a dish with tin foil, put it in a dark warm place. Wait 2-3 days and you should be gold.

You want to use plastic that is approved for use with food. What happens is the chemicals leech into your water from using cheap plastic buckets. Using the correct type of plastic is a must to build a SAFE system and it is NOT cheap by any means.

hey bud ! you should use a tote that is a solid color(black) for the midget hydro setup, so light dont cause alge growth in the resivoirs! that is a sweet setup for small closet growing or countertop!
