I don't understand the big deal when guys want to put down Honda riders cuz they ride a Cruiser with loud pipes. I have owned 3 Harleys and 1 Yamaha Roadstar. I admit I'm buying a Harley this spring because there IS nothing that is like riding a Harley but the Roadstar I had was awesome! It had a great sound and would of outran any of the Harleys I had. Still people say Hondas are Jap made. Well theres a Factory here in the states that make them. Also MANY Harley parts are Made in Japan.

I believe Harley still uses Mikuni Carbs, Hitachi starters, the front forks are made in Japan. Then aftermarket parts like Kurakyn are Made in Japan. So I think its fair to say if you have a Harley that is "Made in the U.S.A. it was Pre AMF! Like my buddy with a 63 Panhead says "My Harley is Made In the U.S.A. So really what's the big deal what bike you ride these days. As long as you ride. Once I get my Harley this spring I won't treat a Honda rider like I am better than them! Lets all ride!

Ya Roadstars are badass!!!! I sold mine to my dad 4 years ago and all he does is replace tires cuz the torque balds a back tire pretty quick! Still not a thing go wrong. I know I would of had any of my harleys in the shop if I would of did to them what I did to that roadstar! Great bike
