It's probably a safety demonstration of the dangers when working around heavy equipment like that.

I once drove a container forklift, and if someone was in front of the container, the deadweight could flatten them without me noticing.

We did some testing on a Fiat Panda against a wall, where a buddy of mine was driving the forklift moving a heavy container. I saw the panda flattened against the wall and he said he just felt "a small bump".

this was just a simulation North American did to show the seriousness of paying attention to your surroundings in the mining work environment. those haul trucks have lots of blind spots and their drivers can't always see light vehicles, so it is everyone's responsibility to be as safe as they can when working around big equipment like this
