  • was this with like basic mods like just 14psi and like exhaust and hard pipes ?

  • my 92 tt mostly stock runs 8.3 to 8.0 in the 1/8 mile... do the math

  • I have since rebuilt this car. Found the knock sensor was bad, boost leaks and oil leaks were the cause of most of the loss of power. I am now making 450+ to the wheels and looking forward to making it to the track soon with it!

  • aweomse. any updates?

  • Heading to the strip tomorrow. Will have some video up within the next few days, hopefully in the 11's! :)

  • let us knw

  • how do u know if u have a bad knock sensor?

  • also, that was on 225's in a 4seater TT

  • my stock z ran a 13.2@108mph, with a 2.3 60ft.

all i did was up the boost with a manual boost controller i made with $6 in parts at a plumbing store

  • I can believe that. Stock Z's can usually make it into the high 13's at least. This one must not be in the best shape. Most BPU TT Jap cars are in 12's or 11's...lol.

  • is this ur car?

  • The last run was pretty good, but you probably have room for improvement (or bigger tires...though the wheels looked aftermarket). I have a 95 TT that ran a 13.86 @ 106 mph with only a pop charger, an RPS segmented flywheel, and an upgraded clutch, the original 245 tires, on a night that got down to about 40 degrees...was about 55 when I ran (in other words, the track was an ice rink).

    Where is that track?

  • is it stock ?

  • Not quite, it has full exhaust from the downpipes back, intake, ECU remapped, and electronic Boost controller at 15psi
