  • Excellent song!

  • class...

  • Another late night home from a hectic day. This song can just instantly relax you and remind us of how great this era of music was, and still is. These songs are just a treasure to behold, just so great.

  • This is wonderful! Nat King Cole at his best!!!

  • @ZEAUXRO Semper Fi brother. This song also hit my heart at a timeI was so in love with someone that hurt me bad. Life is rough but Music touches the deepest emotions at times. I was a homesickmarine in okinawa back in 1978 and certain songs bring back thoise memories too.

    Semper fi 0311 forever

  • It just gets better and better every evening late hour I come in and get away from the world. How lucky I feel to be of the generation that appreciates this music with such style and class, it is just so great.

  • This song means impossible love to me. Not always does love find a way.

  • Back again late in the evening hours, all quiet in the house and just the music and me in the nightime, what a great feeling to be able to enjoy this music in today's world of instant fame, from a time when there was much more class in our society, thank you Mr Cole for a beautiful song.

  • This is truly 'grown-folks' music--just gorgeous. Mr. Shearing was just class personified--and what is left to say about the golden voice of Nat Cole? Velvet on vinyl--just the greatest!

  • I remember hearing this new, at my uncle's home in NH, when I was 4 or 5. I don't know why, but it made an impression back then. It's nice to hear it again, after almost 50 years! Thanks for posting.

  • George Shearing RIP. The end of an era in jazz.

  • All one has to do is close your eys and let the music take you back to that special time in your life when everything was just easy going and right. Music is magic, thank you Mr Cole and Mr Shearing for one of life's great pleasures, the magic of a special song.

  • Is this tune written by Leroy Anderson?

  • Excellent!!!!

  • what a combination two great artist-- i always loved this song nat and shearing. hat,s off, thanks for posting-- '' excellant'' pure shearing, used to playon late night radio-- those were the days

  • Magnificent. I usually find one song from artists whom I admire, not their most popular, but one which speaks most directly to me: Sinatra, "Stay with Me"; Elvis, "Trying to Get to You;" Streisand,"Cry Me a River" (black and white TV version when she was very young); Dean Martin, "Sway". For Nat Cole this is the one.

  • Wonderful song from the George Shearing and Nat album. what can you say? Fabulous. "I'll win her heart some day." Nat is the greatest.

  • Thank you soooo much! I've been searching for serenata for years! I have it on tape, but I could never find a cd with this song. And now I can listen to it here! Thank you once again =)*

  • Alguém aí já foi a terra das serenatas?...

  • The one and only...

  • Phantastic Nat King Cole.

  • Any one got Sarah Vaughan's version of this? Two great versions of a beautiful song..

  • You can find it here on youtube (live version) 1969.

  • That arrangement is indescribably wonderful, I grew up listening to this album on 1/4 inch tape, it's just masterful. Thank you so much for posting.

  • Never heard this one before, but all the same: it is yet another masterpiece by the great KING. thanx 4 sharing.

  • Gorgeously sentimental love song from one of the greatest singers of the 20th Century, and one of the greatest Jazz pianists, from a classic album they made together of the sweetest romantic Jazz. Wonderful music.

  • I love you Nat ! Always have, alway will.
