It's a really interesting part of history.
While my grandfather on my dads side was fighting in the battle of the buldge, my grandfather on my moms side was in a Japanese internment camp.
Life can be strange.

My dad is a D-Day Navy veteran. His LST made 13 crossings on D-Day. He's visited the memorial twice.

I had the honor of caring for the widow of Sgt. John Schenk, one of the Bedford Boys who didn't come home. She was a wonderful lady. She recently passed away and now she and her first true love are together forever. 29 LET'S GO!!!
