Great to find these on the net. Just recently when going to Brighton/UK and checking out some second-hand record shops, I actually found the version with those 2 demo versions - finding them after 30 years was just too great!!! However, your rip is better because my copy has a few more scratches. Thanks so much for this! Cheers from Germany
Utopia at its finest-my opinion. RA was a great show in '77. I have always like the slowed-down-to-a-lower-pitch vocal toward the end (stay forever.....). This is a studio masterpiece! Todd's flanged guitar tone STILL is one of the best!
Great stuff. Many years ago, I listened to this when I was really ripped. I convinced myself that the fast-to-slow transitions in the final section must have been spliced together, as they sounded impossible to play!
This does not sound like an alternate take. The rhythm tracks are those on the album. The vocals, on the other hand, sound like they may be "scratch" vocals; although this does sound like a mixed track.

Amazing stuff. But to see this band at there best, look round you tube to find them playing live. They are just jaw dropping when they are live.

Both demos are from a rejected test pressing of the RA album. Todd accidently spliced those mixes into the master tape.
