nice rig:

the "spacer" aka shim, is for increasing or decreasing compression, depending on the amount of nitro in your fuel, the spacer also help with detonation/timing:

adding the shim increases compression/ and vise versa.

which is better LRP engines or O.S. engines?

O.S. because even if you purchase a cheap $170 OS Engine (like I did) it's still very good. LRP isn't known for their engines. Only their ESCs and motors.

Awesome looking V-Spec. If I had that engine I seriously doubt I would actually run it,lol...more like put it on a nice case and use it as a show piece in my house.:)

Lol, same here. However, I think I may purchase a second one so I can actually test it out. Number 13 isn't a great number so I don't think I should actually run this one :) Kinda crazy, I know. But a friend of mine sure liked the idea.
