Do you think you can get close to a jazzy tone, with the neck pickup and tone pot rolled down a little? Of course not exactly like a hollow body... but close? :)
@bolocanalberto I'm not too familiar with what separates a good jazz tone from a bad one, but I'll refer you to this video. Paul Reed Smith is demoing a Custom 24, not a CE24, but still, they are quite similar guitars.
(I couldn't copy and paste the link, but just type in "Paul Reed Smith demo custom 24" and it's the first one).
@diazcamille I think I went a bit overboard actually, lol. I believe it was the Marshall Plexi with a Tube Screamer in front of it with the gain high. And I also added a compressor.
Really NIce job!! ...I just bought a CE-24 myself and you're right, the maple neck is extremely dense...I love it! By the way, where did you find this nice backing track?
Very good cover. The only thing I see is the "A" after the main riff. You need to give it the F note on the bottom of the chord....(I think thats the right note...4th fret on the D string.)
Haha, that's right. I saw the tutorial video featuring Alex Lifeson himself, and he said that he keeps that F# throughout the riff. Well....now I know.
This one's my dad's. I know, I know.......it's tough being me.....
It's a CE 24, which is PRS' bolt-on version. The back of the neck is maple and feels MUCH more dense than a mahogany neck (or even the maple neck on my strat).
Some of the initial schords were wrong. But sounded ok either way well done

Hello!
About the CE24...
Do you think you can get close to a jazzy tone, with the neck pickup and tone pot rolled down a little? Of course not exactly like a hollow body... but close? :)
Best regards.
