  • It amazes me that after all these years people still comment on this amazing song.. A true testament to it's beauty... She loves me.... Ah, yes, now and forever -3

  • Thanks to God for James Ingram- you have touched each one of us with your music....wherever you are, I love you!!

  • '...cos she love's me....'at this point i cant help but smile- such peace engulfs me!!

  • big chune omg

  • I'd like somebody to take this song and turn into a Christian worship, change up the lyrics... He loves Me... you know, if it's done right it will be a blessing to so many.

  • @SuddenSparkles You are perfectly right!. We need inspirational music in the Gospel world right about now.

  • @SuddenSparkles Something like... "My Lord, He makes no demands, He waits for me with open hands, He understands. My Lord, gives me all I need, He understands the feras in me, And when I'm down, You know He wipes the tears in me..."

  • @rgmonasterial yes, exactly

  • She Loves ME!

  • Where's James Ingram now???

  • @lubrellejam2003 James is enjoying the $ he made for co-writing 'PYT (Pretty Young Thing)' with Quincy Jones for Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' project, as well, he finally released a new cd called 'Stand' a couple yrs ago - very inspirational music, sung with that sound(!) only 1 of the most soulful vocalists ever could deliver. I do recommend all of James' cds. Next he is re-teaming with duet partner Patti Austin (whose current cd 'Sound Advice' is a must also!). They'll be doing a duets cd!

  • Music 4heaven,, what more can I say... James thank The Lord... What a song!!!!!

  • All I have to and can say is...

    I THANK GOD FOR YOUTUBE!!!

This is sooo me caz I loves my bae!!!

  • I love the bass in this song... break open the Chablis!

  • @SuddenSparkles I was thinking the same thing exactly (as I sip my Merlot and enjoy the scent of my candle)! My brother is an excellent (jazz - rock) bass player so I was really listening and enjoying the bassline!!!

  • @jujubeans83008 It's a little early in the day to join you but I promise that by the end of the weekend, I'll be sipping Cabernet Sauvignon and listening to "She Loves Me" while I contemplate what it means to receive from someone who doesn't really feel like giving... or sharing for that matter. ps: I love JellyBellies don't you?

  • @SuddenSparkles You at least brought a smile to my face this morning on my way out the door. Your comment was "deep" and I'm feelin' you. PS: I love JellyBellies too and enjoy my Cabernet Sauvignon!!! Today's a great day to have some by the fireplace. *** Cheers! ***

  • @jujubeans83008 I guess that depends on where you are (location, location, location). I had a rare treat last night of Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey, that's perfect for a snowy chalet next to the fireplace...

  • This song says it all.........he knows I still love him and always will. Why, why?

  • Never cease to be amazed at the greatness and power of this wonderful soul voice. In my top ten singers of all time defy anyone not to be moved by him. Dee Kent England.

  • classic,all the way......

  • I love this song sooo muchhh..thank you

  • she loves me in my worst!

  • Nearly forgot this great tune, UNTIL two nites ago. Jamie Foxx sang the first verse of this classic during his Jay Leno appearance. Thanks Jamie. And, he nailed it too. In fact, he went onto sing his latest release. It pales compared to this James Ingram classic. I suggest Jamie cover this song. He immediately sells millions!!!! James Ingram one of America's most under-rated crooners -- still alive and kickin too. Go Akron, Ohio. Amazing he and Howard Hewitt from same hometown.

  • These music was some of the best in the 80's, classic, so classical.

  • Yes, I know this one.....I love the keyboard notes in the chorus right after the words "she love me"....didididi......nice melody......and I've loved Whatever We Imagine for years!!!! Fans of James should also check out his duet with Dolly Parton called THE DAY I FALL IN LOVE from the soundtrack to one of the Beethoven dog movies....if you can get over the line "roll over Beethoven", it's really a tearjerker!!!!

  • Oh yes........this IS IT!!!!!!!

  • One of my favourite James Ingram songs

  • The original title of the song was THE BEST THAT I CAN BE by JIM PHOTOGLO from his 1980 album photoglo. This is just a good cover version by james ingram but for me original is the best...

  • could you upload ....WHATEVER WE IMAGINE... BY JAMES INGRAM the original version.....

  • Beautiful lyrics!

  • Beautiful song.

  • great classic soul ¡¡¡

  • Y yambien otro clasico de los 80s!

  • todays R&B singers suck! except R. KELLY.

  • wow backwards wow i remebr going to see James i was jus in my late teens real love songs what happen today to the songs

  • james ingram.....one of the best!

  • James Ingram is a tough act to follow, he is definitely one of the most sophisticated soul singers ever to walk on planet earth, and that is as a matter of fact... I was blown away the first time I heard this ballad...

  • i really love this song... wahehehehe

  • this IS ROMANCE... what an unbelievable ballad.... thank you james.

    thx for uploading this song.

  • from a great and timeless album!!!!!

    so nice, i love it!!!

Why James works not more with Quincy for own albums?

  • wonderful. nuff said. 5*

  • we dont have great r&b artiste nowadays. Greats like Ingram, Peabo Bryson,Luther Vandross is now a rarity

  • R&B music was great in the 80s!

  • i miss my girl i dedicate this song to her. i love you honey.

  • littletanbear, you have an understanding on romance but ladyharley is "mature", meaning, she's had up and down situations. Romance to HER would be more heart-felt than to you, as your words showcase romance circa 2008! No disrespect/offense but YOUR view of "love" and "romance" is still SELF-centered, just to be direct. Ladyharley views love and romance from the OLD-school way, which I appeal to. You get flowers, you'd cry TOO much. Ladyharley would simply say "thanks, I appreciate it".

  • Love and sex combine plus understanding, the ability to stand in storm, the ability to accept defeat yet face it with strength, the acceptance of weakneses to understand what they go through and help them change in a way that they will not suffer. OR if they do the assurance of being there. LOVE opens the horizons of understanding that no PHD can or being a mathematic guru can.

  • Sounds like you really have total concept of what love actually means. But to one who's never been "there",they would still not understand.Love 2 you.

  • It does not inflict revenge, no jealousy because when someone understands the window of trust it takes care of everything. When someone understands..the other person builds their confidence and loves the person more.

  • That's nice - I like the way you said that and it's true. If you love someone you trust them and let them spread their wings so to speak AND you build they confidence that way too.

  • Love makes you do silly things, understands, thats the reality of what love is. There will be misunderstanding, arguments...but later down the road...loving, caring, understanding and making you the best that you can be. It does not harbor pain. .

  • That's what love is....

  • This song makes a woman say...ahhhhhh and melt lol

  • LOL now with this music EVERYBODY its an expert or making the "romantic move" with -ladyharley64-

  • Oooo, sounds like a real man in the making! ladyharley, whatzup?

  • Roses? Candle-light? Dancing under the stars? I know these are "Hollywood-images" but when two hearts are to become ONE, love of THIS sort involved, dancing under the stars is REAL and is supposed to be sustained. I have no pity for the YOUTH of TODAY as they will forever remain without romance. James Ingram' music rocks. If you and I ever met, ladyharley, we'd dance and sex would NOT be the "goal". Romancing you would! :D

  • Marriage, godly-union, togetherness, until-death-do-you-part, these phrases are out-dated, which is what I "suspect" many who comment AGAINST me will refer to me as: out-dated. Considering the YOUTH of TODAY, being out-dated is NOT a bad-thing. The "pick-of-the-liter", women-wise, is NOT suitable anyway. As you are a woman, ladyharley, I'm SURE, unfortunately to state, you can say the same in regards to "men" so-called. To those who KNOW what REAL romance is: hold fast to what once was.

  • ladyharley, you speak the truth. women TODAY, the ones' i've come across, have NO clue on what REAL romance is. it's as if women of TODAY are withOUT romance, nurturing and heart-felt emotion. it's of little wonder why so many women of this type end up broken-hearted and alone as they mistake "sex" for "romance". men don't fair any better as THEY think women are nothing more than "MALE-sexual gratification-objects" ONLY.

  • He has a voice and songs really touch deep into the heart of men or women... They don't make songs like this anymore. Songs that really show what real love is --songs that show respect for women as well as real men.

  • Who is the other version?

  • nothing!!!

  • I like this song He is a singer lovely. he is so special so romantic like no men

  • Like John ! Fake ass lengend, Now he's truly OVER RATED!! sound like he got shit in his mouth when he sings!! that's right i said it!! how many hits has he had ,and i mean real hit records, when all generations and creeds know his songs

8 to 80 blind criple and crazy!.you've made it! motown , from the very young to the very old, people know every lyric to all the songs, whose gonna remember John's songs ,the 1 or two records we may have heard>> and he has to be consistent 40yrs or more!

  • You are venomous for your own reasons.I care not what they are.Jealousy, most likely. Not becoming to you.

  • One of the most underrated Soul Singers ever. Taken from the excellent "It's your night" album released in 1983.

  • Great song this reminds me of Kenny Rogers, Michael McDonald, back in the days. This is real R&B music. Never gets old

  • I love James Ingram's songs. I still have a cassette tape with this song in it. I remember those days. 80s is one of the best times of my life.

  • i luv her so much....
