  • Tight fit... But man do you gotta a lot of body work to do.... Good luck!

  • @TheJoshMidd old video, look in my channel

  • VERY NEAT nice setup

  • where in Connecticut are you?

  • Wow! This sounds beast! Reminds me of an evo sound

  • Damn that thing needs some paint!

  • @dirtbikemike69 This is the same car after i painted it: youtube.com/watch?v=ZYjNLwE9tyc

  • @davez31turbo Link dont work...

  • @dirtbikemike69 then look in my channel, lol

  • Sick

  • hah tha camera moved

  • If I may ask what did u do with the ps cooler? Looks like u kept the ps

  • @jdm4life89 bolted it behind the radiator support.

  • that setup looks real nice

  • sweet ride man. im about to rebuild my motor from an n/a to boost. did you piece a kit together or buy the kit as a whole?

  • @pipelinetrash91 I pieced everything together. This is my old setup though. I did a lot of new mods. one visual mod is the top mount equal length i fabricated.

  • Yo I'm gunna turbo my h22a1 in my 92" prelude" skunk2 exhaust and mugen headers" what should I do to make this engine last long " I'm told 9psi would be fine on stock internals but what should I do you think?

  • sweet ride homie, motor look real clean n sounds gr8. did u ever run it at a a track n get sum numbers n what horespower u think ur gettin to tha wheels..

  • @thegame8791 11.7 on the 1/4 and about 400whp. lots of new mods this year im hoping for high 10's

  • @davez31turbo good 1/4 time. sick whp homie. did u build it ur self? did u beef the tranny and axles up or jus leave factory?

  • @thegame8791 yeah, i did everything. stock axles are fine. The synchros are starting to go after 3 years of racing. This spring i am installing my Carbon synchro rebuild kit.

  • looks really nice , sleeved ?, how much roughly does a full conversion to turbo cost, and can the stock box take the power ? thanks great engine

  • sexy

  • nice!!!!

  • hey i am buying a turbo kit for my h22a and i was wondering if u could help me install it?

  • what kind of turbo?

  • @JDMBoy2k10 Garrett T3/T04 60 trim .82 a/r

  • what is your 2-step set up as i have hondata s 300 and i would like to have mine like yours

  • @95egboosted Always on, Max speed 6mph, Launch Limiter Rpm 6280, activation rpm 6107 Fuel Enrichment 8, Ignition timing -32 degrees

  • what is your 2 step set at

  • @95egboosted 6200rpm

  • wat kind of wastegate r u runnin

  • @jdm4life89 synapse synchronic wg001

  • Damn dude nice work.

Is that a GNX I see in the background or no?

  • @markkjay No Grand Nationals X, lol

  • @markkjay Maybe you saw my 85 300zx with thr RB25det swap.

  • @davez31turbo

Ohh maybe idk I'm blind lol. I have an '87 300ZX waiting for turbo and 5-speed.

  • dayyyyyum!!! that looks freaken nice.

my prelude is in the process of being rebuilt. i just need the time to finish it.

so the bottom end is fully built right?

  • @esmaje yea

  • thats how i like to see my preludes. filthy in the outside, but beasts in the inside, not like freaken ricers that make their cars look all bad ass and they got a piece of shiieeet engine.. Good Job man!

  • @esmaje thanks, for 2 years i drove it like that, but i did end up doing the body work and painted it last spring. sphotos.ak.fbcdn(DOT)net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs609.snc3/32055_1274095544732_1600244268_30605255_1493099_n.jpg

  • what are all the things you had to do to make it turbo i have a 2000 prelude h22a4 and i want to turbo it

  • @ZIKNEZ Check out the honda forums... Honda-tech, hondaswap, if you need help.

  • fucking junky yard

  • @billythefat Jackass its not my yard, its my garage that's 300 feet into the woods. i'm sorry my garage is 2 times larger then your house and i have some old parts outside with like 14 cars.

  • @davez31turbo LOL, i have a 4500 sqft house....hmmm that junkyard is like the size of my pool...

  • @billythefat the garage is 3600 sqft, still you have no need to be an ass. haha plus that shit isnt there anymore. this video is over a year old. and the car isnt black ...

  • @davez31turbo not being an ass, just hate to see mutha nature being hated on lOLz, not reaLLY IDC

  • i think the compression is 9:0:1 and 15 psi

  • @AVL285 255lph yea, get a walboro 255lph fuel pump...

  • I just boosted my lude as well and was wondering. I havent got a tune yet and checked all my vac lines. It seems when I start the vehicle with the new ecu it idles high for a couple seconds on startup (Little under 2k) and when I just tap the gas. Could this be programmed with the tune..I also get no check engine light and seems to idle fine...

  • @BrandonJay1983 its just adjustments on your tune.

  • whats up bro i have a 93 lude wit the h22a too. im actually finishing it now. i have a garret AR. 60 turbo other mods i have is CP low compression pistons, eagle rods, 450cc injectors, Skunk2 intake manifold, P28 Ecu tuned but not dynoed. full 3 in. exhaust flowmasters, stage 3 XTD clutch and 9.5 pound flywheel and MSD SCi ingnition with the coil. how much horses do u think ill be able to push without getting the stage 2 cams?

  • @AVL285 Low Low comp. pistons? Boost lvl? Well with 9.0:1 comp pistons, and like 12 psi... your looking at maybe 280-300whp.. your injectors are to small to run much more boost then that. and you will need an aftermarket fuel rail cause the stock fuel rail is insufficent and gives unstable fuel pressure. i recommend 750cc injectors RC, Golden eagle fuel rail and areomotive a1000 APR.

  • thanks bro i appreciated. the car was pushing 15 pounds with no problem. i was already thinkiing bout injectors but the 550cc but good thing you told me. Would i need a new fuel pump too? any other mods u would recommend? and where would you recommend me to buy them?

  • they can hold alot of boost with little modification dam , thinking it would be a good idea to put it in a bmw and run it rear wheel drive no sure if youll hav to buy a new gear box though ive been told the best way to go is to use a b16 gearbox

  • standard head new cams yea ? do you think these engines could hold 600 bhp ? , nice car.

  • everything in the head is stock, cams and all. now has 400whp @ 19 psi. um. 600 if you build the head, oversized valves and port it and maybe 30 psi? but thats another easy $3000. 400whp is enough for a street leagle FWD. if it was RWD it would be a different story.

  • sweet; i wish i had the time and the knowledge; i have a 95 h22; im putting on an aem sr, dc sport head, probably megaflow cat, and rsr exhaust for...better fuel economy

  • if you do the head you'll need to have it tuned to get that better fuel economy.but that also depends on what cams you put in it.

  • what do you mean have it tuned?

  • Tuning a car generally entails, but is not limited to, modifying the values in the engine computer for the vehicle. These values effect/specify how long the injectors should remain open, spark timing, and several other factors that allow an engine to effectively and safely create power based on RPM and other readings. Tuning is generally only required when something inside/outside the engine is modified to change the amount of air/fuel entering the engine or compression ratio.

  • also i have about 200tho miles; is it worth it for me to get a turbo kit for the extra hp?

  • you can easily double your hp with turbo. but you need to know what your setup can handle for boost.

  • Nice lude.

  • Thank you!

  • so this thing probably doesnt make shit for power with that manifold. that things gotta go dude.

  • how much power do you think it made on the dyno?

  • 16 psi... in a perfect world you should have made about 440. with that manitold... probably 340 if that.

  • honestly kid, if i want your rude knowledge i would of stated; hey can someone help me get more power? I know what can be done. and by the way with a manifold like your talking about... maybe 50 more hp. Its obvious you don't know your "round about" power gain numbers. so go read some forums and d-sport magazine you jackoff poser.

  • He makes about 400 or so and ran 11 flat on his old setup... Shove your accord up your ass.

  • with the hondata 300, shouldn't you be able to rev it up a bit more? you made 5.5k rpm

  • thats called launch control... rev limit past 6mph is 8050rpm

  • Seems like you got a lot of junks laying in your garage and outside....lol

  • What my tig welder and some jack stands? And the tires outside we got rid of them... Gave the guy who did the spring cleanup a 30 pack of beer to take; i think it was 175 tires, lol

  • What sleeve did you put on it?

  • Golden eagle Mfg.

  • what two step is that?

  • its hondata s300 2 step. fuel and ignition cut...

  • What compression pistons are you running?

  • arias 9.0:1

  • Thanks for the reply. I am at the last step to building my complete sleeved H22 bottom end (the choice of pistons) and I am trying to decided on which ratio to go with; so may I ask why did you choose that compression over the low arias piston of 8.4:1? Also what are your thoughts on JE or CP pistons?

  • je and cp are also good... if i had to rebuild i would probably get 9.5:1 pistons. and i wouldn't go any lower then 9.0:1. my thoughts on 8.4:1 is no low end torque at all. but more room for detonation. but with sufficient tune you will never have to worry about detonation. so yea with 8.4:1 it would be like driving a d15 until the turbo spooled. it would be a weak cruising compression ratio,

  • Good advice! What about go to 10.0.1????

It is about as close to stock compression as you can possibly get, yet they are forged so still able to handle the boost.

I have built an NA H22 before but building for 20 pounds of boost is difficult without having anyone to ask serious questions, thanks for you time.

  • its just more risky to tune. compressing more air volume to a tighter area. you would just have to use more fuel then me to prevent detonation and have a little bit more power.

  • You can achieve the same power at a lower amount of boost with 10:1 as you would with 9.5:1 and more boost.

  • need some oversized race wires and msd ignition

  • Car sounds great man. I'm in progress of building the bottom end of my h23 right now and boosting, this vid is inspiring me to finish this project! Good work!

  • thank you!

  • love that engine bay nicely done! 16 Psi thats a monster!

  • lol then you should see it now... 5 times better. =)

  • dammit its videos like that that makes me not sell my prelude...

  • hehehe!

  • where did you get that gauge pod

  • i made it ;)

  • Damn!!

    thats crazy

i thought you had put on you front bumper??

  • yea, i need to drill all the holes for it and stuff... i am striping the car and doing the body work in a month so i am just going to wait. i need to buy rear quarter panels... so maybe in like 5 weeks it'll be painted with the bodykit...

  • Nice, nice!

    it's coming together pretty nicely

what does it run on the 1/4 mile??

  • i rather forget about last time i went cause i had some issues... but we'll see when i go again this season. i'll be sure to put some videos up =)

  • haha that sucks

alright man ill be waiting for them
