I've nothing to say about world politics, but one thing I do know is...this movie is pretty terrible. If you were considering seeing it, for any reason, this preview should be enough to convince you otherwise.

Just Watched this on a new R1 DVD release. The real reserves of raw materials like oil and water are a complete national secret. Only one thing is sure: They are not unlimited. I think, it is better to preserve the beauty of our planet and concentrate on educating people than to fill earth with consumers.

@flamifer @flamifer Why not explore, and build space stations, travel to new worlds that can support life, build colonies, why have a defeatist mind set by conceding a future with fewer people we must spread out across the universe, I want to set man free you want to kill them off! You can't keep reducing thing until it is all gone, that will be the end of all human life.

I fully agree. We can not just sit on our planet until the sun turns red. Our scientists are working hard to achieve space travel, but we still have too many obstacles on the way, too many ignorant and "conservative" religious people. Remember: Each uneducated person more on this planet shortens the time we have left.

Now why don't you get a brain, oh i forgot you are most likely for the dirt farmers because they love being taken care of by the government who love to watse our resources. Remeber the govermnet paid the farmer to grow food but when they could not get the price that they wanted they left the food in the fields, now how smart is that
The U.S. waste every resource that it can, and pays third world countries to not grow thier own food, through thier corrupt goverments!

exactly, the whole "space exploration thing" is just another way to try to convince us that we don´t have a population problem, just like the old "we produce more food than we can consume, most of is lost or wasted" losses of fod are due to the process, you loose food on the crops, on the transportation, distribution and so on, losses are part of the process, they can be managed but not eliminated...

Well said.
Not only is a society based on exponential growth, through the exploitation of finite resources, unsustainable, but those of lower intellect are out-breeding those of a more rational outlook.
While intelligent people weigh up the pros and cons of school fees, climate change, where to live to raise a family or whether it is acceptable to breed at all, the less clever are dropping babies like turds.
Quite frankly we need a dramatic cull, at least 75% reduction.
Bring on the pandemic!

Just Watched this on a new R1 DVD release. This is a really creepy sci-fi film but in vein of others, such as FAHRENHEIT 451, SOYLENT GREEN & LOGAN'S RUN, it has a poignent message about the future & of society. I think it's well acted & the dolls are sooooooooo creepy...reminds me of that doll in DEVIL DOLL....!!!
