  • Keep telling yourself, IT'S ONLY A MOVIE, IT'S ONLY A MOVIE!

  • I read the book years ago. I wish I could find the book now but haven't been able to. Thank you for posting this.

  • This is a movie that shows an overpopulated, overpoluted future, but even so manage to show the message that it´s worth to procreate no matter what and people who procreate in a world that have no enough food for the already living are heroes...

    stupid movie

  • @lzardo2003 Thanks! You saved me from having to write that.

  • To the brainless shithead who knows nothing about reality who claims any society "encourages" lesbianism: you know nothing about cause and effect. People are already lesbian or not (or to whatever varying degree they are). No society creates more lesbians or gay men by mandating it.

  • Sadly - with all the conservatives throughout the world and every part of the world proudly declaring itself to be a conservative society (which SHOULD be the greatest shame in the world), breeding and breeding without thought, denying the proven fact of anthropogenic global warming (AGW), denying the holocaust of factory farming - this movie won't be too far from the truth in a decade!

  • Since 1972 I have strongly supported mandatory vasectomies for men to stop overpopulation, yet I NEVER heard of this movie! Damn shame. This movie is a HOOT! LOL!! I LOVE it!

Conservatives are so hypocritical and stupid: they want everyone to breed, breed, breed... but then they want big government to come in and rescue them from the bad ol' illegal immigrants. Conservatives always want gov't to do their bidding yet they don't want to pay for it.

  • Aaahhhh, what a sweet fantasy, and what a wonderful world it could be... Back to realty now.

  • too bad liberals are too politically correct to ever mandate this. neo-cons are dictatorial enough to attempt it, but they're the ones that are against abortion; but i bet they'd be ok with making it a law against poor people.

  • @EmperorMarcusNovius how 'bout jim bob and michelle duggar? 19 kids; all of 'em zombie ass stepford children.

  • At what point did this planet become "overpopulated"? At 3 billion people? OR at 5 billion? ???

  • @EmperorMarcusNovius ...you're not in a position to say that, but thats what is planned anyway.

  • By repopulating you have been found guilty of the most devastating crime against humanity,,, todays air quality is with in EPA save standards. todays weather forcast mostly dark brown fog with partly scatter methane bubbles mix with a chance benzine hydrosulfric acid rain . just another beautiful day at the south pole. tonight forcast is nuclear testing from 9pm till 6 am

  • Too bad it's not real! That's the remedy the world needs. All the other threats pale in comparison to over population.

  • @StellaCheloniaPolari

You sure are a glittering jewel of colossal ignorance,,,

  • I don't know whether to cry or puke.

  • I've nothing to say about world politics, but one thing I do know is...this movie is pretty terrible. If you were considering seeing it, for any reason, this preview should be enough to convince you otherwise.

  • They found a doctor that could diagnose the problem, so he keep asking question about a possible second race but was threaten that his words were heresy and that he could be kill by them for spreading lies. But the first race still wanted answers so they relented over time, the doctor told them that they could survive by breeding with the second race, but because the first race had them all killed off there was now way that could happen, nor could he make a cure either. They killed themselves!

  • have you ever heard of Eugenics? Forcing people not yo have kids spell the end for mankind, I guess that why it bothers me so much because black people in America faced that in the past, having the States force sterilization on people they deemed unworthy to have kids, if they got grades below a C, or if other relatives had mental problem. I would not want to live in that world, or to face that level of oppression, we has humans must grow beyond the horrible acts of our past!

  • @proverb311031

My vision of birth control is not directed against people of other races. I call it socially fair birth control. People with not enough income receive money from the government and in return stop having more children until they can support themselves and their children. I don't think it is too much to ask for at least so much.

  • @proverb311031 What's stopping them from getting jobs?

  • Our ignorance about the world's raw material reserves and environmental situation is currently making it impossible to decide about birth control. A lot of money is made with this ignorance.

  • @flamifer sorry i had to breakup my comment so much the system has changed and they have reduced the character count

  • @flamifer you are right about the reserves, and that is why we should not be guarding Saudi Arabia, they have a policy of not telling anyone how much oil they have, it's a state secret!

  • haha, lol!!!

  • One acre is 90.75 yards of a 53.33-yard-wide American football field. The full field, including the end zones, covers approximately 1.32 acres

Plenty of room, we do not have a polutation problem we have a greed problem

  • @proverb311031

Partly you are right. Industrial leaders just want more consumers to buy their faulty products. They say it is good for the economy, but they do not think or care for the consequences in the long run.

It is not only a question of sheer survival. Who would want to live in a world where everything is of low quality and at the same time super expensive. A world, where nature in any form has a price tag and people hate each other just for breathing the other's air.

  • @flamifer I am still bother by government controlled birth control, as you know there are plenty people in the world, who once they got into power would use Eugenics again here in the U.S., just like Hitler did in Germany, after all he did learn it from us here in the U.S.

  • @proverb311031

I agree. We do not know how, and will not be able for still a very long time to do any real improvements using genetics. (For that reason, I strongly oppose the patenting of genes in any form.) On the other hand, it can not be a mistake to support people who are willing to renounce on having children they can not feed. right?

There are people, though, who firmly believe, that it is genocid already, if the slums stop growing, or, god forbid, might even vanish.

  • @proverb311031 What's wrong with Eugenics? Hitler isn't bad because of Eugenics. He's bad because he KILLED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE. What does that have to do with being a careful parent?

  • @jigglesnap Conservaturds and extremist anti-socialists and anti-communists are unable to comprehend the difference between being killed or being forced to starve to death after being born versus not being born in the first place.

And I'm all for nuking North Korea and China because they are fanatic nationalist countries that imprison and murder people for trivial bullshit like playing the wrong kind of music or smoking the wrong kind of dope (pot), which has NOTHING to do with using force

  • @mphello ... to reverse inequality between classes and workers vs the lazy non-working corporate masters and EVERYthing to do with PRESERVING inequality among class and political power divisions.

  • @flamifer I remember a show where there was two races on one planet, one thought it was better then the other, so over a 100 year period, they took control of the food supply and they fed the second race of people anti-birth meds until they finally died out and they wiped out record of their existence. Twenty year or so later their people first rice of people started to get sick and die out, they searched for fifty years, for a cure but could not find one or how the illness came to be.

  • @proverb311031

A probably very well meant try to oppose nazi ideology. But I think, it is not wise to imply things that are probably not true. I'd rather rely on scientific facts, e.g.: Small children do not distinguish between skin colours or that people now living are biologically all members of the same race. The last other human race living on earth, the Homo Neanderthalensis, we killed off 35,000 years ago. All lies or errors backfire sooner or later.

  • U.S. 9,629,091 acres Canada: 9,976,140 acres Mexico: 1,972,550 acres Total 21,577,781 acres 1 Acre = 43,560 square feet 1 Acre = 160 square rods 1 Acre = 1.1834 square arpents 1 Acre = 10 square chains 1 Acre = 160 square rods 1 Acre = 160 perches 1 Acre = 160 poles 1 Acre = .4047 hectare 1 Acre = 4047 square meters 1 Acre = is about 208 3/4 feet square 1 Acre Square = 5645.376 square varas
  • why not try to cut all of the polution by going back to a farming type of life for the next 50 years

  • The ultimate solution to overpopulation is to settle other parts of the solar system. We're either going to have to slow down our growth or find more room.

  • Trillions of dollars of oil have been discovered in the Caspian Sea Basin; there's a 1,000 years' worth of low-sulfur/ high-compliance coal in Utah, that Clinton {through presidential edict} has declared off-limits. Alberta Province, Canada has more oil {it's within the tar sand} than the Arabian Peninsula. Paul Ehrlich in "The Population Bomb" & in "The End of Affluence" warned us that the sky was falling in the 1970's and that: starvation would be wide-spread in the States by the mid-1980's.

  • I saw this film with my parents back in '72. It was very weird.

  • It looks horrible.

  • If I were reincarnated, I would wish to be returned to Earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels.; I don't think a prostitute is more moral than a wife, but they are doing the same thing. — England's Prince Phillip, husband to Queen Elizabeth II

  • you must be into eugenics that means you want to kill 90% of the poplulation!

  • I am into eugenics - the population MUST be reduced to sustainable levels - killing is the ONLY answer - it is natures way....

  • We have 3 planets and far more moons to live on, and you want people to die to reduce the polulation! Get real it's time we sercure our future in the rest of the universe, stop thinking so small there is plenty of room on this planet. If everyne lived in the contenintal U.S. and we gave every an arce to live on, we would still have more then 90% of the land mass to produce our food. It's only the greedy that want others to die, so that they can live high on the hog!

  • land mass of the world to produce our food!

  • nope, you just dont get it do you? It's not about 'space' - it's about RESOURCES - ie food. Try growing crops in 99% of texas. It's impossible - otherwise farms would be there instead of NOTHING.

    get a brain moran.

  • You ever heard of Hdyroponics, growing food in dirt is old schools and requires pestisides, and fertilizer hydroponics does not! Growing food in dirt is slow and wastes billions of tons of resources! Hydroponics reuses water farming in dirt contaminaes water and the soil!

  • enjoy your genocide. depopulation is a must. And it WILL happen....

    enjoy

ps - you sheep deserve it..

  • Your the sheep they are the people who allow themselves to be killed. You want to kill people to solve an easy food problem! The Nazis wanted to kill anyone and look how that worked out. We could use building to produce our food imagine a 200 floor building that produces food 24/7 hydroponics is the way to solve the problem, killing billions is the easy way out!

Are you a Repub, Dem or Independent?

I am a Independent we look for real solutions to the worlds problems!

  • crops need sunlight in order to grow, but I confess, this crop buildings were something I also tought about, maybe using mirrors to direct sunlight, but, anyway, it would not solve the overpopulation problem

  • We should be in space right now, but a few control how much energy we have. When we go space, overpopulation will not be a problem. There is no overpopulation problem we have greed problem, farmers allow good food to rot on the ground for money, it pure greed problem. This happen because the government tells them that they will pay for their lose this is a very bad idea. Business should stand on their own, and the marketplace price should drop at time, but they will not allow it and we all lose

  • @personalfunfest

Liberals can be the first ones to depopulate the planet.

  • @acrovader we're the ones actually having less children; it's the idiot neo-cons that are breeding like pestilence. it's like their pussies' are clown cars; open up and out shoots clown after clown after clown. and all of 'em voting for palin. ftw.

  • @avalanchesoul BRAVO! AMEN! You just made yourself a YouTube friend!

  • Very true, just preparing a piece of land to grow a single crop for a single season destroys 2000 years worth of living fossil soil.

  • sending billions to space is just not going to be possible for the next thousand years, but sending them to where? Mars is the closest place, and, with current tech it would take centuries to make it terraformed, even so, it has fourth of earth´s surface so it would be capable of carrying just a fraction of our current population...decreasing our numbers is the only way to go, but I agree, as a temporary solution, better use of our resources woudn´t hurt...

  • Space exploration is, in many ways, just another symptom of the malaise.

The desire to colonise other worlds is just the day dream of a species that is hard at work making it's own planet uninhabitable.

We can't make a fuel efficient car on earth, how the fuck could we colonise another world?

  • Why did that get two thumbs down, it's just a fact.

There really are too many fascist conspiracy nuts on the internet, a good cull would get rid of loads of those thick bastards too.

  • @proverb311031

Poducing more food is not a permanent solution. By postponing the inevitable we make it only harder for our children. A socially fair birth control program will hurt nobody and finally eliminate poverty and ignorance in the world.

  • @flamifer We must grow and that can not be done by telling people to stop reproducing, the Earth is only a training ground, we will not spend our whole existence on one planet, why is that so many people have so little vision, by thinking that the only way to survive is to limit things.

  • @proverb311031

Yes, we must grow. But our knowledge, not our numbers. Too many people still confuse quality with quantity. Earth is like a big island. We need better educated people, not more consumers to build space ships.

  • @flamifer @flamifer We have a whole Universe to grow into why do the same thing that insurance companies have done, to get rid or kick people out while they drive down coverage, and increase costs.

  • @proverb311031

Yes, there is a whole universe out there to explore. The first space ships with colonists could leave earth probably in about 150 years. (With a few thousand colonists) More than enough time to crowd our planet to suffocation.

  • @flamifer @flamifer That is not a future for humanity, so are you saying that as resource get lower that the population will have to get smaller too, that is dumb.

  • @proverb311031

The real reserves of raw materials like oil and water are a complete national secret. Only one thing is sure: They are not unlimited. I think, it is better to preserve the beauty of our planet and concentrate on educating people than to fill earth with consumers.

  • @flamifer @flamifer Why not explore, and build space stations, travel to new worlds that can support life, build colonies, why have a defeatist mind set by conceding a future with fewer people we must spread out across the universe, I want to set man free you want to kill them off! You can't keep reducing thing until it is all gone, that will be the end of all human life.

  • @proverb311031

I fully agree. We can not just sit on our planet until the sun turns red. Our scientists are working hard to achieve space travel, but we still have too many obstacles on the way, too many ignorant and "conservative" religious people. Remember: Each uneducated person more on this planet shortens the time we have left.

  • Now why don't you get a brain, oh i forgot you are most likely for the dirt farmers because they love being taken care of by the government who love to watse our resources. Remeber the govermnet paid the farmer to grow food but when they could not get the price that they wanted they left the food in the fields, now how smart is that

The U.S. waste every resource that it can, and pays third world countries to not grow thier own food, through thier corrupt goverments!

  • exactly, the whole "space exploration thing" is just another way to try to convince us that we don´t have a population problem, just like the old "we produce more food than we can consume, most of is lost or wasted" losses of fod are due to the process, you loose food on the crops, on the transportation, distribution and so on, losses are part of the process, they can be managed but not eliminated...

  • "get a brain moran. "

    Irony is a wonderful thing.

    lol

  • Did you mean "moron"???

  • Well said.

Not only is a society based on exponential growth, through the exploitation of finite resources, unsustainable, but those of lower intellect are out-breeding those of a more rational outlook.

While intelligent people weigh up the pros and cons of school fees, climate change, where to live to raise a family or whether it is acceptable to breed at all, the less clever are dropping babies like turds.

Quite frankly we need a dramatic cull, at least 75% reduction.

    Bring on the pandemic!

  • Great idea! You should support the cause by being the first in line, also volunteer your family and friends. It's for the greater good of humanity and the planet!

    Your sacrifices will be remembered.

  • What a cliche, did you not notice that three people have already made that comment?

In future, at least make sure that you have checked that no-one has already used your witless cliche before you post it.

  • Irrelevant.

  • @personalfunfest

Tell it like it is Mao. You can join Darwin in hell.

  • 75-80% would be more realistic.

  • I think this may happen in the future and may need to happen.

  • It doesn't have to happen. All you have to do is change the system, by starting to get self sustained.

  • no it does not, why not buld massive space stations with a limitless space to use, eugenics is not the answer or are you a mass muderer

  • This is a recently recut video trailer from Reality Check Tv/RC Media, where all of your videography and editing/postproduction needs are easily met! Contact us via our main website by clicking through on our YouTube page for rate quotes and info on all of our services!

  • Just Watched this on a new R1 DVD release. This is a really creepy sci-fi film but in vein of others, such as FAHRENHEIT 451, SOYLENT GREEN & LOGAN'S RUN, it has a poignent message about the future & of society. I think it's well acted & the dolls are sooooooooo creepy...reminds me of that doll in DEVIL DOLL....!!!

  • i loved this moviw when I was a kid

  • Wow, he made some stinkers huh! never heard of this one Ollie!

  • That looks like a cheery movie (Lol)

  • Congratulations michaelcampusfilms for this trailer of a unknown Sci-Fi movie.

I´d like to see it, because I´m a big fan of this type of movies and I´m findding webs where I could to download it.
