Yeah, this is definitely from the movie "Mac and Me". It was some kind of joint venture movie that McDonald's did (hence the "Mac" part of the title). It was a poor-man's ET movie though with incredibly stupid looking aliens with a story line to match. As stupid as it was I still found it entertaining though :)
