MERAVIGLIOSO ! EMOZIONANTE ! INTERPRETAZIONE DI SPETTACOLARE E FIAMMEGGIANTE BELLEZZA ! VIBRANTE E PIENA DI VIRILE SENTIMENTO !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gracias conductorrr!Un saludo desde Barcelona.
Was this a semi propagandist video during the cold war era? People didn't even blink when the camera focuses on them, as if to say "see, we are much better bahaved than you western imperialist pigs!" Surely people were coached before the concert began. Oh, and I love Tchaikovsky.
@herakles120 No, in Russia people really used to be concentrated in concerts. Maybe they knew there were a TV-crew, but in fact I think nobody was forced to behave that way.
All the different languages...different alphabets and characters...just wonderfully demonstrates how universal the language of music is....I sometimes wonder....what music might other civilizations in the universe have?

There's a wonderful disparity between the cool gestural language of Mravinsky and the raw,but tightly controlled energy of the playing.
