in the last couple of 2k's your team mate doesn't even make an effort to catch the pass, and suspiciously it seems most passes are thrown more toward the nearest defender than the open man. Nash can't even pass the ball accurately in 2k...obviously by design. I don't know what the developers are trying to prove.
Instead they miss open jumpers, my big men centers get blocked by the likes of tony parker for fuck sake... Im starting to think if I go a game without a TO nba 2k12 will go on the frits! !! I average like 3.4 TO a game and recently Im finding it very impossible to go without 4+ TO!!! yet I still play this game....

Ive found away around this somewhat but You are right on with this...the CPU makes you make terrible passes resulting in countless turnovers. Psychic defense....2K dropped the ball overall on 2K12. Still a great game but they are in need of cleaning up key issues.

I get turnovers but not that many. You have to a turn the accurate passing rating all the way up for the USER and turn the STEAL sliders all the way down for the CPU. What NBA 2k needs to do is have the RS button for bounce passing and have the LS button for behind the back/ or no look passing. Or they need to have a FANCY PASS BUTTON. Let's say if you tap A twice. The lasttime you realy could throw SICK PASSES was NBA 2k7. NBA 2k11 was HORRIBLE with the passing but this year is better.
It is ridiculous that the passing is so horrible. No lead or bounce passing and it's almost impossible to actually have a fastbreak unless if ur the CPU which can run u down but u can't come close to them. And the CPU is always getting to the line but I barely get there. And finally, the CPU make an extremely unrealistic amount of 3pt shots.
Same shit happened to me too!! My passing was at 90 and I averaged about 6 turn overs per game. After 2 full seasons with my players overall at 78 I started fresh and moved to SG :( all that work for nothing. Making a complete pass is damn near impossible in this game

Pro is too easy, but allstar is so frustrating because the cpu's shot percentages are too unrealistic. and what's up with the cpu's offensive rebounds? 2k always fix something from the previous year and then purposely fuck something up that they can fix the next year.
@campodutylagops Well I currently play on Hall of Fame and i can tell you CPU's percentages are not unrealistic at the half we both shot 45-50 % its all on how good your defense is . and to elaborate on how they sink every open shot i can agree and disagree on that because it is the NBA and if you watch the games players hit open shots 80 to 90 % of the time the only thing i dont like is how the PF and C's who dont ever hot jumpshots make the shots effortlessly

In MY Player the AI makes retarded trades,signs,and resigns .The CPU make every fucking shot on HOF SIM a was playing against the Raptors and there PF made a turn around fade-away 3 in 2 people face! The passing is just sad,can't get a rebound to have your life. Was playing against Dallas and I block Chandler who a trying to dunk and the bal was falling to the floor but the motion shift into the rim.After that I just cut the game off im done with 2k until they fix this.

its rlly not that bad, its a matter of positioning, if you move a little closer to harrington you get a bounce pass, though the fast break thing has happened to me before. nothing a patch cant fix though

The exact reason why I have not yet purchased 2k12, it was ineviatable that these same issues would be in the game.
