ribbon?? .. if you use the Wifi all day your battery ends up on 20% , but im talking ALL day .. about 10-11hrs .. by that time you've charged it or its been charged .. i have one , and ive customised the shit out of it with CRC's v11.1 ROM and 30.10 RADIO ROM , this is the best phone ive come across, it shits on the iPhone in my opinion, runs way more apps and games and has a QWERTY, which again, i think is better than iPhones touch keys.. google xda-developers , its the best site ever..

i heard that the ribbon doesn't last long and expensive to replace it..and the battery can hardly last a day if heavily used...and sometimes callers can't get the calls thru..is it true???

From 3G mate. If you don't want to pay upfront, like me, I pay AUD$35 per month on it. Well I was already an existing customer, so I didn't have to get any other deals. But you can buy it out right as well. If you aren't going to use the keyboard, then I'd recommend you to buy Dopod810. Its exactly same but without keyboard. It has built-in GPS though. I had to buy a third party one which works excellent as well.

its bulkier than the original 838 and havier. more prone to slipping from your hands. Once dropped...its gone!
