5 years of new tame family stuff should obviously be followed by 5 years of new crazy thrill rides me thinks. SW6, 7 and 8 should all be done within 5 years to make up for the lack of new thrill rides

No, the area is going for a more family feel this year. It now has the theatre, Twirling Toadstool and Charlie. Rides which everybody can enjoy.

And, if you're like me, you sneak in a go on Gallopers too LOL.

how old r u 5 thorpe park has taken the lead since 2008 cos alton towers aint doing anything good as thorpe park have introduced the worlds steepest rollercoaster

At least at Alton all the rides dont break down every few hours and are reliable. You cant really compare thorpe with alton as they are built for different markets. Thorpe is for thrill seekers and alton for all ages. Thorpe doesn't have the same atmosphere as alton does or should i say thorpe has no atmosphere. The theming at Alton is significantly better than thorpes. Thorpe has no history 2 the park. Alton isnt full of trouble makers either and you dont have to be searched.

My friends went to thorpe on the first day it opened and 70% of rides were closed including saw. The queue to file complaints was bigger than for any of the rides that were open. The visitor figures were higher for Alton this year than it was for thorpe in 2008. Many of my friends who are theme park enthusiasts will agree that Thorpe is the park that is going downhill not alton. So your really in the minority. AT might not have the tallest or fastest rides but the atmosphere, history themeing

ride variety, reliability of the rides and market segment makes it more successful and better than thorpe. I know sanbrooke from TTF and i think he will agree with me. So before you criticize something justify your reasons and think cuz it might just change your mind.

yea thorpe grabs all the teens and they only go at if they live 10 mins away but thorpe park dont need a history cos its better than history

ahem. AT had 3.1 million visitors in 2008 making it the 2nd most visited park in the UK the 1st being PBBP. So that really destroys ur point that only people go to AT if they live ten mins away. unless there are 3.1 million people who live in 10 mins distance from AT.

saw is the steepest at the moment, but when flamingo land opens mumbo jumbo, an ss el loco, it has a steeper drop than saw, google it ss el loco and mumbo jumbo
