okay i got the game,and techland???you have not disappointed,fuck IGN,s review.this zombie game is bloody amazing,okay so there are no zombie kids,but i have got zombie raped on multiple occasions.especially in the city,i was constantly running away like a little girl XD much better than L4D and dead rising,think i had a bout 30 zombies chasing me at one point,would have liked 100,s but hey,theres always dead island 2 to make that happen,right????10/10 techland :)
@LeBearExtrordinare Things get really worse in the quarantine section of the city. The first time I set foot in there. Big mistake to go there playing solo. I got fucked up real bad.
You know, the point there are relatively few zombies on the streets(not mentioning respawns) is that it wouldn't be too realistic to see the L4D amounts of flesh-thirsty carcasses around. Banoi is a pretty crowded island anyway. Don't think there would be more zombies walking the streets if such virus would come in real life. Left 4 Dead is terribly unrealistic when it comes to amounts of zombies. Especially in remote places like forests or suburbs.
@Panczekolada yeah i agree that L4D can exaggerate the numbers on certain levels.but if you get to a city,then the numbers will increase.its like they said in the walking dead "cities are where all the food is" so naturally thats where the greatest numbers of zombies are going to be.The nice thing about dead island is the fact its based on an island,so the numbers do complement the game setting.
Pretty much, yeah. Since Dead Island is a polish game, I hope that they'll just as great improvement in DI2 as they did in The Witcher games given that Witcher 2 is even better than already awesome first game.

they released gameplay of Logan at E3 it's on youtube right now. Oh and they gave us a new trailer. Apparently it looks like they've shown all characters in the trailer, I don't know about purna though. I think she is the one in the overalls, but that doesn't match her sillohette

@LeBearExtrordinare Actually, the trailer of the family with a little girl getting attacked isn't related to the main characters. It was just used to show what was happening on the island.
@LeBearExtrordinare No zombie children on this game. They did that on the trailer to show that nobody is safe, don't assume that just becuase a child was killed in a trailer for a game means that in the actual game there will be children that you can kill.
there should also be another picture of Logan fending of a zombie with a lead pipe I think it is. It's some sort of pipe. It's also in first person view. Logan should have a tattoo on his left arm, which he is using to push the zombie back.

@MrSpeedDemon666 What do you mean by fancy? Oh and there should be about a couple pictures of Logan on the dead island website. When you enter the website the trailer should be playing on the left corner of that video trailer it should say videos and photos. Then just scam through the photos and look for the guy in a brown shirt and a mohawk. There should be one picture of Logan with a shotgun and looking at the horde of zombies and then one picture of him holding an electro machete.

@ssbbrocks98 How come you are more intrested in the Bio's for the Women characters ? lol :P. Hopefully the character have some unique about themselves maybe combat moves would be pretty cool to vary. The trailer for this though is by far one of the best ive seen for an game. I would like to see the family who were in the trailer in the game that would be pretty good and see what happens before the outbreak begun. I really do hope techland develop this game well beacause trailer was impressive.

Techland should've made this game good, cause they've been working on it for a long time since 2007 when it was supposed to come out. I also heard that the family in the trailer was going to be a side story in the game. I love the trailer. Kinda sad, but very well made.

@MrSpeedDemon666 Maybe you saw the graphics for the earlier version of the graphics. The new ones look a little bit more realistic. I wish to see gameplay soon too, but did you see the earlier trailer as well. I'm guessing that will be some gameplay, either pushing a zombie back or just kill him while he's on you. @MrSpeedDemon666 I think xian mei would be leader or assassin since logan has a backpack which would probably mean he is jack of all "trade." I'm not sure what that means though lol. I think you get to choose who you play as in story mode. But, I think that you play as sam b for a little bit though.
@ssbbrocks98 An "Jack of all trades" is a figure of speech used in reference to a person that is competent with many skills but is not necessarily outstanding in any particular one. I think Xian Mei is likely to be the assasin, cannot imagine her being the "Leader". Im looking foward t the graphics of the game, they are supposed to be outstanding

@ssbbrocks98 Left for Dead and Resident Evil 5 to be honest were really good games but they are not really realistic. Its gonna be a nice change to play a game where you actually feel like you are struggling to survive, it brings an realistic feeling to it. @MrSpeedDemon666 I love those games just because they're zombies. They are good games too. But, it's just a little not really zombie type of thing. Have you really seen a zombie run that fast like in l4d. That's more rabies instead of zombies. resident evil 5 was a good game too. But, they took out the whole zombie thing. Actually now I think xian mei is the jack of all trade. Her bio says she is quick learner so she could learn lots of skills fast. No I'm not getting oblivion skyrim.
@ssbbrocks98 Wow you dont like any other Genre of game, do you? lol :P. Yeah that was probably the only bad point in Resident Evil 5, the enemies were actually not zombies! Also i would of liked more cutscenes because the fighting scenes in resi 4 & 5 were epic. Left 4 dead you can play that for hours though, never got boring. How come you aint getting Oblivion i think you would like it :o. Made an new intro so when the characters are released ill add it in aswell
@MrSpeedDemon666 I only like certain games depending on gameplay. I usually only like zombie games since all zombie games have something in common that I like. eating zombies that you get to kill nonstop.

Im not saying its the best game but you have alot of things to do on it :). @MrSpeedDemon666 The trailer made me want to buy it like 50%. Then when I saw gameplay footage of the new version of dead island, I was like ok I'm buying this for sure on the first day it comes out.

I hope the Island is big enough and you can explore in random buildings and resorts that will make it more realistic and intresting to see what you can find :). Wish it would come out tommorow :/
@MrSpeedDemon666 Some youtuber said that there would be boats so you can go to other parts of the island and cars to travel the certain parts of the island since it is really "big" ya I wish it would come out tomorrow too. But, summer seems like a good time to go with the tropical and vacationing setting.

Well that will be pretty useful with some Transport, ha imagine running over the zombies xD I would like the option to create my own character though, that would be cool but thats just me i have always liked games where you can wear what you want and are able to pick out special abilities like Fallout 3 :)
@MrSpeedDemon666 lol running over zombies is one of the great things about zombie games. Ya creating your own character would be cool too. Thing is if you create your own character and the game is in first person the only thing you would be able to see is your arms. Games where you could wear your own stuff is nice and funny at the same time. Like Dead Rising 2 you could wear anything, even girl clothes such as tube top and mini skirt or knotted top cuffs

Im intrested to know hoow actually the Virus started to spread, so im look foward to explanation of the whole thing by the game developers :). Just something to make the story make sense, like how there are going to be special class zombies, an explanation of that would make some sense. I don't think they're really putting children as zombies. I remember watching the interview with a guy, then the interviewer asked him if there are going to be kid zombies in the game. I think I remember him saying there wouldn't be kid zombies in the game.
@ssbbrocks98 I think it would be great to experience a bit of normality before you start to kill anything. Would be nice to take in the scenery and expierence what it was like before the virus broke out. I wouldnt mind children zombies in the game would you? atleast it makes it more realistic. I think the fact that there will be "Special Zombies" makes it less realistic :/. maybe to 2 types of zombie would be suitable but more types of zombie make it more enjoyable and entertaining game :P

I think that lots of special class zombies would sorta be realistic, cause the special class zombies could've had a mutation as a human or they did something to their body. Example, you know l4d the tank right. Maybe the tank as a human took steroids and when he got infected, he became the tank.

But, you never know, it could turn out one of the best sellers and run out early. That's why I'm getting this game the first day. I hope this is going to be scary as well. Maybe be in first person mode and be in a dark room. Then have a flashlight that you keep tapping to get it on. Then when you get it on you point it in front of you and a zombies head pops out

You be 4 different people with different occupation and try to escape this island. One more thing I hope to see in this game. they released gameplay of Logan at E3 it's on youtube right now. Oh and they gave us a new trailer. Apparently it looks like they've shown all characters in the trailer, I don't know about purna though. I think she is the one in the overalls, but that doesn't match her sillohette

there should also be another picture of Logan fending of a zombie with a lead pipe I think it is. It's some sort of pipe. It's also in first person view. Logan should have a tattoo on his left arm, which he is using to push the zombie back.

When you enter the website the trailer should be playing on the left corner of that video trailer it should say videos and photos. Then just scam through the photos and look for the guy in a brown shirt and a mohawk. There should be one picture of Logan with a shotgun and looking at the horde of zombies and then one picture of him holding an electro machete.

The trailer for this though is by far one of the best ive seen for an game. I would like to see the family who were in the trailer in the game that would be pretty good and see what happens before the outbreak begun. I really do hope techland develop this game well beacause trailer was impressive.

Techland should've made this game good, cause they've been working on it for a long time since 2007 when it was supposed to come out. I also heard that the family in the trailer was going to be a side story in the game. I love the trailer. Kinda sad, but very well made.

June - logan or purna (might be the month demo comes out, if there is a demo)
July - logan or purna(might be month demo comes out)
August - the 2 remaining character would have to be revealed before the first day of august since the game comes august 1st

I wish to see gameplay soon too, but did you see the earlier trailer as well. I'm guessing that will be some gameplay, either pushing a zombie back or just kill him while he's on you. @MrSpeedDemon666 I think xian mei would be leader or assassin since logan has a backpack which would probably mean he is jack of all "trade." I'm not sure what that means though lol. I think you get to choose who you play as in story mode. But, I think that you play as sam b for a little bit though.

I think Xian Mei is likely to be the assasin, cannot imagine her being the "Leader". Im looking foward t the graphics of the game, they are supposed to be outstanding

Its gonna be a nice change to play a game where you actually feel like you are struggling to survive, it brings an realistic feeling to it. Yeah Sam B is by far the tank xD not sure about the others :P. Are you getting Oblivion : Skyrim? im looking foward to that game also :)

Have you really seen a zombie run that fast like in l4d. That's more rabies instead of zombies. resident evil 5 was a good game too. But, they took out the whole zombie thing. Actually now I think xian mei is the jack of all trade. Her bio says she is quick learner so she could learn lots of skills fast. No I'm not getting oblivion skyrim.

Also i would of liked more cutscenes because the fighting scenes in resi 4 & 5 were epic. Left 4 dead you can play that for hours though, never got boring. How come you aint getting Oblivion i think you would like it :o. Made an new intro so when the characters are released ill add it in aswell

Thing is if you create your own character and the game is in first person the only thing you would be able to see is your arms. Games where you could wear your own stuff is nice and funny at the same time. Like Dead Rising 2 you could wear anything, even girl clothes such as tube top and mini skirt or knotted top cuffs

Just something to make the story make sense, like how there are going to be special class zombies, an explanation of that would make some sense. I don't think they're really putting children as zombies. I remember watching the interview with a guy, then the interviewer asked him if there are going to be kid zombies in the game. I think I remember him saying there wouldn't be kid zombies in the game.

Would be nice to take in the scenery and expierence what it was like before the virus broke out. I wouldnt mind children zombies in the game would you? atleast it makes it more realistic. I think the fact that there will be "Special Zombies" makes it less realistic :/. maybe to 2 types of zombie would be suitable but more types of zombie make it more enjoyable and entertaining game :P

I think that lots of special class zombies would sorta be realistic, cause the special class zombies could've had a mutation as a human or they did something to their body. Example, you know l4d the tank right. Maybe the tank as a human took steroids and when he got infected, he became the tank.

But, you never know, it could turn out one of the best sellers and run out early. That's why I'm getting this game the first day. I hope this is going to be scary as well. Maybe be in first person mode and be in a dark room. Then have a flashlight that you keep tapping to get it on. Then when you get it on you point it in front of you and a zombies head pops out

You be 4 different people with different occupation and try to escape this island. One more thing I hope to see in this game.
