what everyone is forgetting when this was shot they JUST got the game they weren't trying to show intricate gameplay maechanics they were just playing the game for fun not who could get the highest combo or the most damage jeez.

they sucks a lot.. probably begginner in 2d fighting game. If they had at least finish the "combo mode" from the 1st episode on DS.. They would do much better..

I got some tips :D I got well You could use this combo with most people. L +M+ X, JUMP +L+M, JUMP +L + M shunpo behind him L+M Shunpo up L+M Shunpo up again and then either slam him down with a H or if the character has a special in mid-air use it. BY "L" I mean y, BY "M" I mean x and by "H" I mean a. It's a very good combo usually you can use it on any character. Hope this helps.

Considering the first was released just recently in the USA/EUR it might take a while.

Or you could just import the japanese version, there's really not much need for english text in a fighting game. When I first got the japanese version of the first game I didn't know any japanese at all, but I had no troubles playing at all. If all else fails, use gamefaqs for translation.

Btw, how do you unlock Byakuya? I still have a few to go. I recently finish the story mode but not 100% T_T;

Keep playing story mode doing all the branches.

Path A,B,C,D (Not sure if you need to clear it on all difficulties in order to unlock characters)

I think (on path C & D) there are multiple endings to clear so you need to play it more than once.

Try Free Mode, it lets you play story but choosing any character you wish and any stage without going through all previously cleared stages again. I don't remember if you are allowed to use it for unlocking though.

I highly doubt that. I think he would do good with Renji because your friend likes long range attacks. Also thanks for the friend invite. Also I think you could take your friend if you bought another DS. I play to just that if I'm facing a rival I tend to be more serious, but if I play my friends I tend to mess around with them and just have fun. Thanks again for replying

It seems your friend likes to play as Ikkaku. Also he likes the move were he juts his zanpaku-to. It seems you and he have varying styles. He tends to play on the ground, while you tend to play in the air and go for aerial attacks.

Yeah, well he claims Ikkaku is the only character he is alright with. Plus Ukitake is good with aerial attacks so that would explain why I try to use them.

Nice analyzing though, I'm not good with that, I just play. :(

I like to play as many characters. Byakuya was one of my favorites in the first game but they really made him slow and prdictable to block in this one, so generally I don't use him much. But favorites include Ichigo, Renji, Ukitake, Urahara, Ichimaru, Soi Fon, Ishida to name a few.

That sucks your DS broke. It's also coming out in America later in the fall it will have four-player wi-fi matches so I'll hopefully get to face you and sFsshino you two could team up and I'll have one of my friends back me up it will be a battle royale.

Yeah I was playing as Ukitake here.. Anyway, this was recorded like a day after the game came out, after this I learned some neat & awesome combos with Renji but I never got around to record it before my DS cracked. I no longer have a DS so we won't be able to play each other sorry.

Anyways, an oppurtunity for improving was not poosible for me, because my DS cracked shortly after this game was released. And yes, this video was recorded 2-3 days after release. ( Although I did play the first Bleach game, but not very much. )

arrgh they still havent fixed hollow ichigo's colour scheme. The outer part of his zangetsu is black and the inner part is white instead. Then for bankai, his clothes and sword is white.
