  • this movie looks like shit

  • If I was a terminator robot I would have a huge robo boner right now.

  • Sounds like the voiceover for "Thanksgiving".

  • my favorite part of this movie, when the little robots rolled out of security and said:

    PROTECTOR 1 GOING ON LINE

    ahahahah

    epic 1980s is EPIC

  • Who the hell breaks into a mall just to party?

that's like breaking into a bank to make a deposit!

  • @dentonscheibal3 It's worse than that, though; who parties in a mall even when it's open? It's like breaking in to a bank to check your emails or something. ¬_¬

  • @dentonscheibal3

They really didn't break in. They work there so they had keys. :p

  • I can't believe they show the exploding head IN THE TRAILER.

  • Cool movie, evils robots, and dont forget the best part... those wonderful boobs

Thank you ! have a nice day

  • That's like the 1 millionth time I listen to the same narrator on every trailer of every horror film!

  • Intense Mall Security.

  • this movie is alsom

  • 1980s Horrors films always shows stupid teenagers doing dumb shit and they always get bumped off. The writers must hate them so they make trash like this as therapy for them, and we eat up because we feel the least bit sorry for them!!!

Percy Rodrigues is my hero RIP brother "NOWWWW!!"

  • I just love the way he says "Chopping Mall" lol

  • Best.Video.Description,Ever.

  • LOL. Despite the bad reviews, I'm curious. I've watched quite a few low-budget films and still enjoyed them. I might just check it out and decide for myself if it's worth watching.

  • @rachelchunter

It's a very enjoyable movie :) cheesy and funny. And it has John Terlesky :D

  • I Loove how the glass table at :30 breaks before the people touch it. lol this movie is fun as shit.

  • The guy who played Ricky in a Nightmare on elm street part four was in this, but he wasn't given credit. I think he was a shop-lifter.

  • is this the same mall where they shot the "mall" scene in Commando..

  • for all of those with twisted minds...LIKE MINE! ... LOL ... this film was a riot! who would've thought, to use ROBOTS, in a mall, to get rid of "unwanted guests" that broke in. LMAO :) loved this movie as a kid, and STILL enjoy it now

  • this looks....interesting

  • One more in the epic canon of Percy Rodriguez' trailer voiceover.

  • Even the people at the end agree that the movie is crap :P

  • Park plaza mall?

  • They should get some of these robots in at Wal Mart to deal with the difficult customers

  • I was 17 when I saw this on HBO, and for some reason, the line I remember the most was the girl having sex, going, "Ooo...you're the king!!" Hilarious!

  • WALL-E!!

  • lol i cant help but to think it was a mexican doing the voice over 'chopping' mall

  • Complete and utter waste of time. The director makes Ed Wood seem talented.

  • Dick miller and the guy at the end of the trailer were in gremlins 2

  • the terminator would rip that piece of shit arm by catipiller track

  • @Griceyboy I think even the Rocky IV robot could take these ones without any trouble :D

  • cheesy cheesy cheesy !!! mmmmm... wanna eat cheese now. wonder if mom bought some lol

  • Lol!!! This looks great

  • from 80-97 had awesome movies .... but movies after that are well .... what's the other thing then awful?

  • aiyaiyi ... RANGERS!

  • Really?

Man Number "Johnny" 5 looked more threatening than these robots!

  • Comment removed

  • WALL-E WILL KILL US!!!

  • RIP Percy Rodrigues

  • enjoy viewing this entire edition regarding that film from mimb o .net remove space

  • Since 1980's movies are now being remade by creatively bankrupt studios, how long before Chopping Mall is remade? Mary Woronov can return only to get her head blown off digitally now the first five minutes of the movie.

  • @cnoevl67

Did you think the remakes from the 80's were better? were they remaking hokey 50's movies like The Thing, The Fly, The Blob, Not of this Earth, Invaders from Mars etc.?

  • Hey, that's Mary Waranov (Miss Togar) and the bald high school teacher (forgot his name) from Rock n' Roll High School at the very end!

  • music is sick!

  • classic 80s horror !!!!

  • This was like my favorite movie when I was a kids, now that I have recently got a copy, the movie is way too cheesy, it's funny too me, 80's movies gotta love 'em...

  • Wish I could find a copy of this crapsterpiece (I came across it at Movie Trading Company, but when I had enough money for it, it was already bought). The title alone makes it worth buying (and of course the head explosion).

  • They included two people rolling their eyes from disdain IN THE TRAILER!! Gotta appreciate the honesty in advertising. Any recent movies could have used a eye roll scene in the trailer? YES!!

  • meep

  • It is cheesy, yes. But it is also a great movie! Fun campy stuff!

  • The Chopping Mall- Buy or die! Half off is just the beginning!!

  • well.... heres the answer of jigsaw making a mall...

  • I can afford an arm and a leg! I might shop there :)

  • With a name like Chopping Mall you would suspect an escaped ax weilding maniac as a antagonist. Rather these idiots are hunted by dalek wannabes!

  • this must be a troma movie

  • @flashdornfeld

    Roger Corman

  • "The Chopping Mall: Where shopping costs you an arm...and a leg..."

  • lol its the attack of wall - E the evil version XD

  • Gosh, I remember this.

I saw this when I was a little kid.

    We had the video tape.

    I liked it though.

After seeing it a billion times I recorded over some of it with Sailor Moon.

My older brother and sister did not like that... apparently they weren't done with it yet.

  • what was the first name of this flick? i saw it as killbots

  • the economy would be better if they put movies like this out now.

  • I aaw this when I was younger.I remember wanting the robot.lol..

  • holy heck, did her head just explode? Where can I buy this movie?

  • it doesn't sound scary.. the background music is so up tempo.. hahahaha.. funny!

  • I saw this movie for the first time back in 2000 I believe. Yes, it is cheesy as hell but I enjoyed it. One thing I don't understand though. Why did they call it "Chopping Mall" when in fact, it was just robots shooting?

  • @apachette07 And thus is the question that has bothered me for over 2 decades....

  • @HookHandHank LMAO I thought I was the only one...

  • Watched it when I was a kid, only thing I remember was tits.

  • i wish i was a kid back in the 80s, Roger Corman has some awesome movies

  • looks fun as hell. 80s horror movies FTW!

  • Man... I just saw this trailer for the first time. Im ROTFLOL. So cheesy and cheap. Need to get this movie and call my friends to watch it. Hahahhahaha.

  • The music is hilarious. I particularly like how the slugline at the end is said in this way that just... forces you to imagine the guy reading it with his tongue in his cheek. Like he's trying not to laugh at how bad the pun is.

  • Damn good movie. Should've stuck with "killbots" though. The album DeathStalker II is awesome. This movie also has good ass music.

  • Kelli Maroney was GREAT in this movie. How she managed to breath in those pants is no less than a miracle. She kicked robot tail. Thank you post

  • LOOOL @ 33 SECS!!!!! HAHAHA

  • so is this a comedy movie or a horror flick?

  • it's a b horror movie. i dunno if they meant it to be funny but it is funny.

  • lol

  • "where shopping costs you an arm and a leg"

    cheesier than my dick lol!!!

  • hahahahaha yessssss if you think this is funny search "evolver" a killer robot film as well...hilarious

  • lol i remember this movie use to come on hbo when i was young. i thight it was a good one then but now it is just so stupid its hilarious

  • i having see this movie since i was a kid it use to come on channel 50 which use to be upn50 but is now my50

  • "Robot blood"?

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

  • It's definately worth watching as long as you don't take it seriously. The first one had a dark, serious tone to it whereas the sequel is the exact opposite of that. It's campy, cheesy, over the top and, at times, rather silly but still a lot of fun to watch. Lois Jourdan gives an equally great villianous performance as Arcane in it as well.

  • I've always liked this film as well. Jim Wynorski also directed The Return of Swamp Thing, another campy but fun cult horror classic.

  • @TheAltair4

He also directed not of this Earth. This is a fun Sci-fi horror action movie that plays like Terminator meets Dawn of the Dead. Miss Crampton was in it, did you had a crush on her as well?

  • @Johnlindsey289 He also directed 976 - Evil part 2, which was total shit. Yeah, i had a crush on Barbara ever since i first saw Re-Animator.

  • "These bargains are to die for! High-tech robots with state-of-the-art firepower have been employed as night watchmen at the Park Plaza Mall. But when an errant bolt of lightning short-circuits the computer switchboard that controls the robots, the mechanical security men turn into rampaging "killbots." Meanwhile, four horny couples are checking out the mattresses after-hours. Little do they know they're about to go from bed to bath and beyond!", Netflix

  • If you like "killer robot" movies, check out Evolver (1995)

  • mr johnny 5

  • I bought this movie on vhs from a swat meet for like a dollar years ago.

  • the best!

  • about time Johnny5 started kicking ass.

  • I thought the same thing, Johnny 5 is alive!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is a classic lol!

  • i like the eye roll at the end

  • @cthulhu84 Courtesy of Paul Bartel and Mary Woronov!

  • ...robot blood

  • wow!

  • You got to love grind house movies

  • k pedo

  • When I was a kid, it was called "Chopping Mall", but granted I saw this on VHS.

    It's Short-Circuit meets Michael Myers.

  • 0:33 AHAHAHAHA

  • hahaha that was awesome!

  • aiiiii no mames a wey k pedo

  • Chopping Mall. Where shopping cost you and arm and a leg.

Plz give me a reason to not watch it after that slogan.

  • The eye roll at the end sums up that pun perfectly.

  • wall-e's evil brother in law

  • I saw this movie as a kid and it was called, "Kill-bots". It really impressed me and scared me. But I was a kid, I wonder how this movie would look if I watched it again after all these years.

  • Oh I get it, its supposed to say shopping mall

  • One of my favorite things about these cheesy 1980's horror films, are the taglines for the film itself;

"Chopping Mall. Where shopping costs you an arm...... and a leg" LOL!

Even the tagline is cheesy as hell.

    THE 1980's FUCKING RULED!!!!!

  • @baddog7676 "THE 1980's FUCKING RULED!!!!!" I Second that!!!

  • i loved this movie, thanks for uploading the trailer.

  • ...robot blood.

  • I saw this last week, and the mall they are in really reminded me of the mall from Commando. The Galleria. Wondered if it was the same place.

  • ...the mall in fast times ridgemont high, also..

  • And T2 (terminator 2)

  • @skeeterhmcr it was, until the 1994 Northridge earthquake damaged it.

  • Barbara Crampton...so hott!!! And still so hott!!!

  • I'd say your perception of cheesy is a certain charm as opposed to the rather dull standard clearly working for the better here. It's what the 80's were all about, excess. Taking things to the limit, reaching new heights.

You say overkill, I say underperformance. Meet me halfway and we're on to something. There's good and bad in everything but the less is more thing's merely 00's Pop culture talk. The word cheesy's considered periodical cool thus overused. Movies are meant to entertain.

  • @veritas1005 no doubt bro

  • It may be cheesy but thats what makes 80's movies great. Love this movie

  • @esya1987 Exactly. This reviewer is a cashew head. Eighties cheese beats any horror film out now, hands down.

  • the robot firing sounds like the original war of the world alien weaponry!

  • One of THE best movies EVER.

Russell Todd is God. Because you just don't have the hips for it.

  • This movie used to come on TV when I was a wee one, under the title "Killbots". "Spookies", "Evilspeak", the 1982 "Alone In The Dark", "Silent Night, Deadly Night"... I'm nostalgic to the point of friggin' heartbreak.

  • omg .33 haha

  • lmao i know that what i said goddamn, blow the b*tch shit off.

  • is like i heard on the cut up blog

    Chopping Mall

    Chopping Mall

    Chopping F***ing Mall

  • it just sounds like a mexican is trying to say shopping mall ROFLCOPTER

  • hahaha seens like this movies is ver scary and more better than today it sucks

  • Killing Robots, exploding heads and Skinny Puppy-ish 80's horror music: Damn I need this movie!

  • I would say Nitzer Ebb but still good!! This movie was a good reason to stay up late night on Friday or Satuday night with friends and watch these classics!! I mean a lot of people complain bout how cheesy etc but you have to remember people this WAS tha 80's!!! No CGI or whiny fake ass pop stars or rappers doing tha soundtrack.Just Casio Keyboards and tha best special effects for tha companies money! No big budgets or drama filled sets just good ol 80's magic!!

  • Short Circuit meets Dawn of the Dead?

  • "Happy Birthday, Paulie." X)

  • i miss the 80s..movies suck now

  • Agreed.

Chopping Mall is one of the best fucking movies ever!

  • Killbots will destroy you!

  • Look, it' Wall-e's demented cousin!

  • The people rolling their eyes at the end of the trailer perfectly describes the film! LOL

  • where shopping costs you anarm and a leg lol!

  • Could this movie be any more 80's if it tried, complete with the Jaws guys voice on the trailer! Love it!

  • this movie looks so retarded

  • Wow that was cheesey.

  • i have this movie on VHS, classic

  • HAHAHA at 0: 33 the chick's head blows off

  • haha was that paul bartel?!

  • Sure was.

  • yes, paul bartel! i yelped a little when i saw him and mary in this movie. i love them in "eating raoul."

  • Who the hell breaks into a mall to throw a party & screw? There are clubs & hotels to do that sorta thing. Maybe if they went to Vegas or Atlantic City they wouldn't have been killed off by security robots!

  • genius!

  • i should turn you into scrapmetal for this. lol

  • All I have to say is...Campy!

  • all you need to do is piss on the fucking thing lol

  • That one dude was on the Howling on :09. "Actually" i think he may have been the killer "I don't remember.

  • That's Dick Miller. He's in most Joe Dante directed movies. Also, he is awesome.

  • "Yes" Your very correct! "I remember him on my Howling special edition DVD being interveiwed, Thank You! "He's funny as hell and i really admire hi's acting "He's is really hilarious.

  • this looks amazing!

  • It is amazing!

  • barbera crampton had a really nice butt.

  • Nice butt, nice chest, great lips, killer eyes. She had the whole package.

Check out "Re-Animator" and "From Beyond" to get a great look at all of her "ass"ets

  • Thanks man! I'll take a look at those

movies with her In It... because that

    women is one fine thing.
