i've always struggled with alt. bass. well im getting the hang of it here. maybe its because the fretting hand is a bit freed up. when you get bummed out trying to nail this, those chords strum quite nice too ;-)

Great to see this man. I met him 25 years ago after a gig, I was a shy 14 year old kid who was learning to play like him, and he was very charming and interested in what I was doing. A truly nice man :)

You may get right hand pattern when he goes split screen. I think he is basic, using maybe 2 fingers & thumb. Should come easy enough.

Yeah, thanks a lot dude. I'm starting to play some open tunings now. And it's going swimmingly. It helps that I already mastered the alternating thumb. Thanks for the lesson.
