  • i've always struggled with alt. bass. well im getting the hang of it here. maybe its because the fretting hand is a bit freed up. when you get bummed out trying to nail this, those chords strum quite nice too ;-)

stefan grossman, great teacher. you can feel his patience.

  • Great to see this man. I met him 25 years ago after a gig, I was a shy 14 year old kid who was learning to play like him, and he was very charming and interested in what I was doing. A truly nice man :)

  • @BorderReiver73

similar story here, except I just met him november of 2011 and he's still just as awesome

  • Turnips look funny!

  • Just started open tuning playing delta blues with slide this is cool you teach well

  • You may get right hand pattern when he goes split screen. I think he is basic, using maybe 2 fingers & thumb. Should come easy enough.

  • Vestapol? Never heard of it. Good lesson though.

  • While I've been playing the guitar for years, I haven't learned anything new for most of it, so this was certainly an enjoyable breath of fresh air. Thanks for posting this!

  • amazing

  • I can tell you one thing he rarely uses anything but index and middle finger.

  • Thanks for the lessons Stefan,Great job.

  • Yeah, thanks a lot dude. I'm starting to play some open tunings now. And it's going swimmingly. It helps that I already mastered the alternating thumb. Thanks for the lesson.
