  • I don't play WoW but this music is beautiful.

  • @GlowyPie Dont. Its ruined... all i like to remember of WoW is the great music it holds... plus pwning noobs of course :D

  • Brings cum to my dick,, awesome music..

  • WOTLK was the best game ever but this music just tops it off. cata is cool but some times original is a hell lot better! bring linch back.

  • P E R F E C T

  • 2:28 ...

  • This music is the reason why I got my fishing skill maxed, it's so perfect

  • This music totally reminds me of the music at the end of "Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King," when Bilbo and all get on the ship for the Grey Havens. I just got the WotLK expansion and went to Grizzly hills for the first time today. As soon as I stepped across the border i was like "Oh my god, I'm in love." It's so great. Can't believe I haven't been there before.

  • I don't know why, but I feel like the Cata equivalent to this is Uldum, I love Uldum for it's music too, and it's very odd that I do, it isn't extremely beautiful like this, but it's mysterious, and I like both of these.

  • I love WOW i started playing in cata which i had to satrt at lvl 1 an orc warrior, made my way up and what i really found my strength was with a DK i loved the DK not just cuz oh they have this and that dps meter and all that complex talk, but bcuz of who they are, soldiers who are forced to serve the anger hate sorrow vengeful attitude, something i can relate to i love the dks and the wotlk bcuz the story not bcuz im better thn you at pvp, the epic journey is what drew me to play not to showoff

  • @Chem1kill lol youre fucking retarded man

  • @Chem1kill I'm really happy for you bro, I enjoy the same experience you do.

  • @Mazzah96 yeah its rare meeting ppl on wow who actually enjoy the storyline, i love the lore but its hard finding a group who enjoy as much as i do ya know

  • @Chem1kill I love the story line. WoW has such a fascinating history, and so much of it is rooted in real-world Nordic myth, such as Vordrassil the World Tree. Everytime my friend and I hang out, most of what we talk about is WoW history various characters or events or zones.

  • @mokster5 Hell yeah see i wish i had friends like that where we can talk about lore and stuff all day haha but most o fmy friends are jocky juice heads who get thier asses kicked by me when we play wow or any other games lol thats why im writing my own novel inspired by wow and lotr, and other fantasy stories i love how wow tho has sooooo much history whoever created it is a genius and amazingly creative idk how you can make much history and lore

  • First piece...Gorgeous.

  • @mamatamba2 Yeah - guess we'll have to see what happens for the next expansion :)

  • @mamatamba2 well sure I can.. I just got bored.. and the theme of cataclysm wasn't that interesting to me, I liked the theme of Northrend much more :) The questing in cataclysm was slightly better, I'd give you that.. but the stories where still a little half arsed and in some cases - just really, really dumb.. and the challenge was gone.. so pff.. I might pop back in a check when/if "Mists of Pandaria" comes.. if I find the theme interesting.. but Cata was really boring to me..

  • I loved Northrend.. my only complaint was the size of it all.. I would have loved to have so much more of it! I quit after 1 week of cataclysm..

  • One thing i will always love about warcraft is the music , still makes me want to return to the game and play through all the zones again . Especially Arathi Highlands

  • How can you not like Wotlk when you have seen the grizzly hills, sholazar basin, icecrown and of course the howling fjord ?

All the zones transitioned into each other smoothly and all kinda shared this dark gloomy Northrend atmosphere.

I remember guys complaining that wotlk was to grey...can you imagine Northrend in flashy colours ?

  • my favorite zone in the game

also love the sound of the wind in this zone

  • Something about this track is so final - like someone packing their bags going far away and never returning. It's so sad yet beautiful at the same time.

It's actually a pretty good description of how I feel about WoW now and how I'll never play it again. I have great memories of Vanilla and the first two expansions. This music makes me feel like I've packed up and left one of the greatest worlds I've ever lived in. As much as it pains me to listen to this, I still have to thank Blizzard :)

  • The first song is so incredibly beautiful.

  • lay in bed thinking on my stuff this music playing, npcscan going camping Arcturis the best camping of all for a Hunter.

  • if i had the change to give up my good life here in the netherlands and build up a new life in a place like the grizzly hills then i wouldn't hesitate, i'd eminently took my stuff and go there, i'd build a large wooden house, not to fancy but in a style like they have in the grizzly hills, i'd like to forget about the constant hate and war in the world, i would just enjoy the beauty of life in a beautiful place like that and live in peace

  • Grizz hills is my favorite music in the entire game. Granted, there are pieces of 'epic' music from cata with the invasion and all, but as a musician, I truly appreciate pieces like this. Reminds me of FF7 music (Aerith's theme, anyone?) which is just as wonderful. Thanks blizz.

  • Imagine how would it be like to live there as your char..

I dream that one day I will wake up as my mage in grizzly hills...I'm going to wake in a little house made of stone. My water minion is going to be sleeping next to my dragon mount...I will go out and open the door...I will inspire and feel the cold and clean air in my lungs...Then I will mount up on my bear and just walk around grizzly hills enjoying the cold morning...You know what I would call that guys?...Freaking PERFECTION =)

  • @Piratugaable i couldn't have said it better myself, all so true. i'd really do anything to make that to happen

  • @Piratugaable would be my dream come true, mate.

  • @Piratugaable are u jesus christ? cuz u are EPICALLY AWSOME!!!

  • dammn you just started a whole movie in my head... thanks, now i have something to dream about in the night :)

  • @Piratugaable do water elementals sleep?

  • @Dirtcopter77 meh why not!!?

  • @Piratugaable You made my eyes water... lovely comment :)

  • @Piratugaable couldnt have said it better myself mate!!! i have the next best thing... i live in canada! :P

  • @Rockstar6660 And I in Norway, wich also matches up quite good!

  • @keyboardarctica haha good job mate :D i love being in the country best feeling ever!

  • @Piratugaable that made a tear into my eye :) , i would love to wake up with as my char in mulgore, a powerfull warrior. with the kodo sleeping next to me, waking up in mulgore and breath in the clear air into my lungs. '' todays air is so... dirty... it's makes me sad, or perhaps in 1000 needles, waking up in at a top of the i dunno what to call them... huge long stones? naah... you know what i mean. on a tiny house one of them , with a elevator down and up. epicness. that is ^^

  • 1:37 - 2:10 is one of the many reasons why WoW USED to be one of the best works of art ever conceived.

  • @PoliticalHell

I don't really go for this sort of classical/traditional music, but that passage is fucking perfect. Seriously incredible.

  • So ethereal and spiritually pure

  • this and Sholazard basin soundtracks are the best soundracks in WoW

  • loads of wow people always wish they could go to those places blabla

THESE PLACES ARE BASED ON REAL SETTINGS IN OUR WORLD, GO TO THEM, GRIZZLY HILLS- SCANDANAVIA....ELWYNN FOREST- EUROPEAN FORESTS...BARRENS-SAVANANH PLAINS

yet many of you sit on your arses all day consuming, thus helping to the destruction of these places :/...and also knowing nothing of places like these in existance

i played wow and i love the soundtracks, just dnt sit on your arses wishing these places are real...they are

  • @casnernac It would be nice if there was a quick and simple solution to everything like "stop consuming" wouldnt it? I really appreciated the message you were trying to get across and even agree but you dont need to attack people to get them to listen to you.

  • I remember sitting on an airplane landing in BC. As soon as I saw all the pine trees and log cabins, this song started playing in my head. Welcome to Grizzly Hills.

  • @ElisaAngel123 In where?

  • @Trollina666 British Columbia, Canada

  • @ElisaAngel123 Must visit *_*

  • I think Grizzly Hills and Howling Fjord are the only zones in wow that actually make you feel lik your there. Not my favourite zones but they are very memorable.

  • Reminds me of Once Upon a Time in the West

  • so.....amazing. of all the music i listen to, this song is the best of all.

  • A piece of music like this (especially the first 2:30) is almost wasted on being in a game. I love WoW and have been playing for years, but seriously, this is soul bending.

  • questing, visuals and music in WotLK were great kinda sad they screwed up the end game.

  • this would be the perfect melody on people's ways to heaven, just so peaceful and tugs heartstrings ;)

  • just listenting to this is so peaceful even though deathwing has risen, beautiful :)

  • The people who downrate this have no soul, and should be destroyed..I wanna cry everytime I hear this

  • Howling Fjord's and Grizzly Hills' music always brings a sense of happiness

  • Blizzards subtle way oh getting players to keep playing wow. The music is fucking amazing

  • Azeroth got boring so they implemented the Cataclysm. Outland got boring and that is why people level fastest there( to get the heck out) but Howling Fjord and Grizzly Hills make Northrend worth the while.

  • When I first heard that wonderful music from 00:00 to 2:12 I stopped questing and sat down and thought about all the adventures my char had done and how far he has come.

And I nearly had tears in my eyes and I wished there would be eternal peace....

  • @Wernerius100 biggest geek ever

  • @williefuckingowns:

geek? not at all, man. What do want from me with such a stupid comment?

  • @Wernerius100 WOWOWOOW holy nerd!

    DUDE GO OUTSIDE!

  • @vvbn7890 lol

  • @vvbn7890 In reality, you're as much a nerd as him, but you put him down because you don't want to see yourself that way.

It's sad, really. You're in denial.

  • @sightseek3r Hes not a nerd for liking the game, or the music. Hes a nerd for fuckin crying over it dummy. Don't come at me with the golden, age old gamer rhetoric and defense of "omg u nerd too for watchin it lolololl" because its way overused, not original, and any simpleton who believes it is a compelling argument needs their head checked

  • @vvbn7890 So you're not a nerd? You play WoW, you are a gamer, you are a NERD also. Why is that anything to be ashamed of? Why is that anything to avoid?

  • @sightseek3r Playing a game does not make one a nerd, just like playing basketball on the weekends doesn't make you a jock. I've avoided nothing, as I openly state I play WoW, and like its music. What makes him a fuckin nerd is the fact that he cries over the game - that is extreme behaviour beyond that which a normal person would exhibit - nerd, or jock in a parallel example. Come on Betsy, come up with a solid argument or let me mock the nerd in peace

  • @vvbn7890 Well if we're going to have this discussion, I think we should at least get on the same page. What do you define as a nerd?

Personally, I see gamers as a kind of nerd. And being a nerd in and of itself is not a bad thing if you ask me. I openly identify myself as a nerd, and I'm curious as to why that could be a bad thing

  • @Wernerius100 LOL K so i forgot I even commented on this until someone laughed at my comment...interested in what i said in the first place, I came upon YOUR message again...Dude, your post was so fuckin gay and dorky it deserved a second response...

Tear in your eye?! Eternal peace?! DUDE ITS FUCKIN WARCRAFT GROW A PENIS. Your comment is truely the gayest, dumbest, dorkiest shit I've ever read in my life LOLOL fucking NEEEEERD hahaha

    EVERYONE LOOK A VIRGIN! HAHAHA

  • I cannot believe that this song exists...

  • kinda music and zone that makes you want to get an 80 on an rp server

  • gave me a good feeling when i was listening to this... blizzard should make more songs like this...very awesome.. a bit romantic i think lol.. but you can have a feeling with this song..

    it just sounds great...!!

  • Tears are swelling up in my eyes.

  • Sweet, sweet old Grizzly Hills... /sigh

  • Terrokar is another good place, basicly any place dealing with nature is nice I have quit WoW for not cause its a little boring running around dalaran all day, but when Cata comes out expect to see me jump back into the fray! For the alliance my brothers...and for you horde people, For the horde!!

  • @Darthlighty hey its me jessyca

  • @sadgirls13 its me jessyca

  • I have this macro'd in the game. Much rather listening to this than Crash, slash, bonk and scream!

  • Between grizzly hills...and nagrand...nothing beats the two..they are simply the most beautiful places in the game.

  • @Darthlighty srsly, Grizzly hills is one place i love to visit even after i hit 80, so is Nagrand, i completely agree with you

  • @Darthlighty i'd say sholazar basin also has great environment parts and music ofc.

  • Grizzly hills, no matter how you look, hear, or think of it, is the best area of WoW.

  • @TheLaukkane EXACTLY!!! THANK YOU!

  • The soundtrack is alot like Titanic. Did James Horner have a hand in this piece :o

  • *tear shed*

  • Epic music, There is nothing else like this around...this music was On when I found out my Grandmother past away...it makes me cry almost everytime :\

  • @Darthlighty /hug

  • @Darthlighty i have the same with the shadowfang keep music, i was doing that dungeon in my first days of WoW and then my father called and said : "Your grandfather just died"

  • @superjorrja It hit me hard though, the music from grizzly hills feels like the ultimate good bye music..

  • I love this so much, in so many ways it's indescribable, I love the fog that rolls in off the sea, and when you get the odd sprinkling of snow falling (I have the weather all the way up) and it's just so immersive.

  • i like the night music... but the day music annoys me alot... thats why i only come here at night.

  • How can you dislike this? Even if it's not one of your favorite tunes, it definitely taps into your soul... unless there's no soul to tap into.

  • out all of the track id say grizzly hills day and night muskic is the best

  • shame on that one person who disliked!

  • best questing place evar

  • Another masterpiece!!!

  • Amazing. Best soundtrack in WoW. Pure and simply love it :D

  • When i got to Grizzly Hills at the first time, i told to myself : WTF, am i in Canada ?!?

  • This always brings me back to the Redwoods in California and the astounding sights in Oregon.

  • WOW! I do not even play WOW but the music is amazing!

  • reminds me of the wild North Canada... majestic and beautiful...

  • ha i didnt even know there were all these versions! thats awesome!

  • OMG.. this music is amazing, I could sit and fish for hours listening to this cycle over and over

  • The music is amazing.. I could actually sit out at Ashenwood Post and level my fishing with the Glacial Salmon spots for hours listening to this

  • ooomg.. i am so playing with music on in Grizzly Hills from now on :o

  • Sweet Jesus. I had no idea there were day and night versions of the music.

  • <3 this is my fac x3

  • i could listen to this all day <3

  • WoW has REALLY improved in the music department with WotLK, in my opinion.

  • I honestly don't see why Arthas is such a big deal..

Just get A`dal, Jaina, Wrynn, Mograine, Tirion Fordring, Thrall, Sylvanus and Thassarian to kick his ass, they could do it easy. There problem solved.

Now we can get onto Cataclysm =)

  • imagine you and 7 of your friends went after a grizzly bear... but you had guns... however if the grizzly got one of you down, he could make one of your friends his friend... and so on...

  • my fav zone in wotlk

  • At the moment i have huge lag, and no enemies or ncp's are spawning, and i can fly around even though i've dismounted.

I'm just running around the whole of Grizzly Hills with no disturbances, enjoying the music and environment :D

  • love it =)

  • Beautiful.

  • this, plus the day theme for grizzly hills, are easily the best soundtracks in World of Warcraft

  • Hands down one of the bast tracks in WoW.

  • Epic.

    Can you download this somewhere?

  • onlinevideoconverter dot comm

  • I enjoyed every area of Wotlk.. all quests were nice the new phasing tech is superb and i'm leveling a second character now and i can't wait untill northrend !

  • absolutely brilliant work. Whoever wrote this is a genious

  • But, If you think about it. There was no war until arthas came. Everything was peaceful in Grizzly hills. No madmen, No werewolves, No plagued beast, And most important of all, The vykrul werent mad.

  • Well, the vrykul were actually still asleep before arthas came. And there were a few trappers living in grizzly hills beforehand, as a result of earlier expeditions to Northrend. Not to mention that the furbolgs there have been fighting eachother forever. Oh, and let's not forget the Iron dwarves, they've been serving Loken and Yogg-saron for thousands of years, moving their giants north.

  • They should all smack arthas in the face. Yogg-saron is probably more powerful than Arthas, Due to him being a god.

  • I think I shall get hold of some of these songs and stick in Oblivion to listen to :D

  • Honestly, this is going to sound weird, but I can see a beautiful pas de deux to this song. (Ballet term, look it up!) It makes me want to start choreographing again, and I think of possible steps in my head when I'm on the flight path somewhere. ~

  • 0.º

  • Epic Song its really really good

i dont understand why are in that place maybe for a sauntuary but in a forest ..?

Anyway this song and the Dalaran Theme Rox

  • I heard this song for the first time as I reached the top of Nordrassil, overlooking all of grizzly hills. I sat down and just listend and looked as the music had reached about 1:30. Easily one of the best music pieces in the game and it made for a very amazing moment. Great work to the art and music teams for that one.

  • I remember hearing this for the first time. I stopped in the middle of questing and just sat and took in the music while I viewed the amazing environment.

    My favorite WotLK song.

    5/5

  • This is THE best place to quest.

    The music. The environment.

    ...beautiful, just beautiful.

  • +1, best zone ever.

  • Man I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. I loved the music and the environment, but the quests were so ridiculously spread out and had way too much going back to town. And don't even get me started on that long long troll quest that involved all the low drop rate items.

  • Totally Agree, I loved this place, but im too high level now, once i reach 80, i'll probably come back and visit lol :(

  • Reminds me of Starcraft music a little.

  • My favorite song is the one that starts at 4:20, its one of the best songs I ever heard in a game.

Anyway, thanks for bringing this music WoWMusicGuru

  • This new settings and music kinda brings some closure to the wow series doesn't it?

It's like the movies, only trilogies really work. Unless they release Warcraft IV there's no more wow expansions to come, only a few patches.

  • how easly people make up stuff...

  • Nah, there's still Deathwing. Also, there are like 4 more Old Gods. The Twilight Hammer hasn't seen any raid action. I could also see an exp pack where you march into Burning Legion territory, like their actual home world, and face off with Sargeras.

  • Yeah, Deathwing is corrupted and its rumored that Ysera and Nozdormu are both also corrupted. there aren't 4 old gods, theres maybe 1 or 2 left chained deep under the world. and Yes we could march into the burning Legion territory, but Sargeras is dead already. Aegwynn killed him.

  • Aegwynn did not kill Sargeras. She wtfpwned his corporeal form, but then he posessed her, in doing so posessing Medivh and driving him mad. Medivh died and Sargeras's soul poofed, but he's definately not dead. He's a fart in the nether, probably. He'll be back, but he's definately not the biggest threat.

  • Aegwynn only killed his Avatar. He is still very alive

  • what about going INTO the emerald dream?

  • "I was halfway through the emerald dream and i needed to pee."

    Night elf joke xD

  • I love northrend and especially grizzly hills, just remarkable music and feeling. I just wish TBC wasn't in my way :(

  • 2:30 on is my ABSOLUTE favorite part of the music..*sigh* thank you for posting!! Gosh I wish they would put these parts on the soundtrack! D:

  • I really love the first one. It plays all day long inside of that giang tree that has fallen appart... Inside of that village, the harmony is breathtaking :3

  • absolutely gorgeous
