Amsterdam is actually one of the open-minded, advanced, free cities in the world. The schools and universities there are top notch as are the arts, artists and musicians. The majority of the residents are very intelligent, well educated and speak, read and write an average of 3 languages fluently. Many of my Dutch friends speak, read and write 5 and 6 languages fluently and have masters and PhDs.
