  • Mr. Bronzespirits.

    Thank you for your comment.

Now, could you explain what does Dr. Shankar means when he says in the interview, that "MAN NEEDS TO UNDERTAND", who is that man that needs to understand since everything is a proyection from Oneness, there is nothing to understand. All Nonduality teachers say that there is nothing to understand.

I will suggest you to watch some of Tony Parsons' or Sailor Bob's videos in youtube, in order to see some of Dr. Shankar errors in his concepts.

  • @oropeza1942 Pure awareness is the only thing that is not object oriented. It is the backdrop within which appearances may happen. "I" have listened extensively to the teachers you've mentioned. And I can assure you that each of these teachers you've listed spent a significant portion of their lifecycle trying to understand. In their deconstruction they finally realized the myth of the egoic self IN TIME. Shankar reference to man is to consciousness that is identified to form.

  • Dr. Shankar thinks that Mind evolves and the Advaita or Nonduality modern teachers like Tony Parsons, Sailor Bob, Ramesh Balsekar, John Wheeler, etc. All say that Mind does not exist as such, what exists is just thoughts.

I will suggest to Dr. Shankar to see the videos of this modern teachers so he will be able to recognize his serious error.

  • @oropeza1942 He already indicated that the mind - a by product of apparent evolution, and the whole process of evolution, and time, and space are all illusory. When he indicates the mind evolves, or science records facts and data.. he indicates that this process is a self-fulfilling prophecy. e.g illusion proving illusion.

And this illusion is so utterly convincing that "you" perceive Dr. Shankar as separate, and in error from other teachers who will see Shankar as part of the same Oneness.

  • @bronzespirits In your answer you said that everything is an illusion, if that is so, then what is the point of reading that book?
