  • After watching that I don't care if it blows a gale and pisses down all day tomorrow, I'm taking my Minelab to the beach.

  • YOU WERE KILLING IT BRO!!!!

  • lol i like how he says the rest is junk i think, and i'd take the bad and ugly!! lol

  • 10k thats whats up!

  • I really enjoyed your video. I do think you should have someone assist in making them in the future. Also, thanks for showing us how well you did.

  • the video work sucks, you need to bring someone with you so they can shoot it!!!

  • You're very clever! I always learn something new each video.

  • Congratulation from Tahiti!!^^

  • Hey, I didn't hear a tone over that 20. Got to throw it back. What an incredible haul. Great hunt.

  • nice... today at Robert Moses SP in NY if found a matchbox car, an old key a rusted dart and 1.76 in clad (two sliver).

  • Wow, you are the man!!!!!!

  • haha that $20 definatly isnt ugly

  • You call a 20 dollar bill ugly?

  • I dont know what i would do if I found 23 rings in 35 hours.....Ive been at it just over a month and have 9 rings total....1 of em is 14K gold with 7 stones...still not as impressive as the vid...NICE!

  • I enjoyed your vid of this hunt. Well done. Mikey

  • life guard is warning them about the rip currents, and limiting the distance they may go out.

  • whats everyone doing stand in the sand in about a 20 by 20 foot. area

  • Pretty awesome. Sounds just like my old Sovereign. Wish my Quattro had the same sounds. Drives me potty and I can't understand it. Very good video

  • I was out today and found $5 dollars in change, not bad for a little bit of work, by the way awesome vid.

  • Hi there,

Fantastic inspirational vid, well done for showing dedication and taking your opportunity. Are you wearing a harness for the metal detector in this vid? I notice you only use one hand to pull the scoop. Would you always opt for a handle when choosing a scoop? Also, if the water is shallow and wave action is minor, do you really need a waterproof Minelab? I have the Explorer II , not the Excalibur.

  • WOW

  • Nice hunt

  • I call BS!

  • @DarkPrince013 Why?

  • Wow did you find enough rings? Im 12 and had my garret ace 250 since my 11th birthday and i havnt found any rings yet. Ive found like 10dollars in change but nothing worth more than 50 cents

  • this dudes got more gold rings than "Jimmy Saville"

  • not bad for 35 hours in the surf...how do you dig the deep signals with that scoop? just wondered? My best day ever 24 gold rings a mate had 54.....but like someone mentioned lots of times not so good Thats when experience helps ..gool luck nice video !!!!!!!!! H from u.k.

  • This video makes people think that if you buy a metel detector and head to the beach, You will find ring after ring. Show a real time 4 hour video on a slow day when you find 26 cents and see the other side of your all glory video. After this video, I know why 1000s of detectors sit in a closet and rot.

  • Awesomely awesome. Since I moved from Christchurch to Blenheim, haven't found any rings, few coins. Bluh! Might go gold panning instead

  • A average day for me in OC is 2 to 4 rings, and they could be anything from SS, silver, gold, and Platinum. This would be from July to early sept, and about 6 to 8 hours... the rest of the year, a few rings but not many..mostly clad...thank Joe

  • Thanks Laurie, OC rules are fill your holes and I think all beachs are open except assateake. Best hunting time is from july to early sept...Good Luck

  • Hey Oldbeachnut, on a typical Day of metal detecting after a crowded beach, what would you usually find and in how many hours. thanks

  • I so much enjoyed this video, it amazes me that you lug all this equipment with you able to find so much and still film so wonderfully!!!.

Do you know what the MDing rules in OCMD are? are the rules the same for all beaches? Any input would be great. I know everyone wants to find gold, I am so new at this pull tabs or clad coins sound like fun to me. The gold would be a super bonus! (LOL)

Great video - thank you so much for posting and sharing.. looking forward to others....

    ~ Laurie

  • You sicken me. THAT WAS AWESOME!

  • Rings...not worth much...But it is lite weight, and has a very high tensile strenght, twice that of stainless steel the same thickness...AND makes the best sand scoop...half the weight of SS, stronger...And a sheet of titianium cost over a thousand dollars. The Ti ring might sell for 20 dollars, if i'm lucky. HH...joe

  • Is titanium valuable?

  • I have a Garrett GTA 500 can I get results like this,? at low tide?? I'm new to this so.... Great video too!!!!

  • Hey Bud what detector are you useing ?

  • Minelabs Excaliburs 800 and the 1000...joe

  • @OldeBeechnut awesome job man i hope to see you out on the beaches...have you ever tried huntin' around some old abandoned towns like Thompson"s Beach (Heislerville), Moore's Beach(Delmont), or Sea Breeze(near Cedarville)???

  • this is what every detector wants to have a super day like this! way cool video!!!!

  • Fantastic hunt and video! Thanks for sharing...

    Chris

  • What a great day,good job!

  • i want to go to the beach and hunt ... lol.. nice finds and HH. (-=

  • Im wondering how you can walk with 2 scoops, the detector and the camera....

    where you get the scoops...?

    I enjoy the video

  • 2:42 RING GETS WASHED BY

  • Sure looks like a ring or could have been a shell..they often make me look twice because of the color or the round shapes. The ring I had just found before 242 in the water was one of two Gold rings I had found back to back. The second ring was the one after the 20....The Summer of 08 I found 4 rings in a row, within 30 feet of each other. Funny 24 & 42 are my Lucky numbers...thanks for watching,.......Obn/joe

  • you proboly made more mony per hour than an avrage paying job i have never hit a beack whith my detecter you made me wont to go now

  • Great video. you really cleaned up. I wish I lived near a beach. You can really hear the change in tone in your machine over different targets.

  • Outstanding

  • Great videos, can I ask where you got your scoop from ??

  • Rielly's long nose scoop SS {1:21 on video}

    Other is a Babbs travel Aluminum 2 piece scoop with SS tip {1 min on video}

Make a scoop from Titianum this winter for next summer, super strong super lite...thank Joe

  • @ 3:03 hurricane bill left you a 20 dollar tip :)

  • Banner whops wrong place great hunt easily paid for the detector that day.

  • Outstanding..as I drool over finds..Man I wish we had beaches near here lol Nice vid tx for taking us along HH
