  • Babies: FIELD TRIP!!!

    Mom: -_-

  • I love how if one starts, they all start XD

Little ninjas, I miss the days when mine were little bubs lol.

  • the popcorn stage is the cutest ;w; I remember when i had my baby mice/rats and they were at that stage ;w;

  • @Nenetan64 But also the most difficult stage, they just don't stay still XD

  • lolololol this just made me laugh

  • Aww there Just scared let them out

  • They look like rats!

  • I read that if the mother is poked and handled daily during pregnancy, and later, a bell is rung in the hearing of the young mice (<1 year of age), they may die in convulsions.

Anyway, "popcorn" mice are hard to manage and are prone to bite if handled.

  • Their so jumpy! :-D and cute!

  • Lol theres only one thts white hahahaha

  • They're so cute!!

  • It is panic! claustrophobic mice, maybe?

  • At this stage they are called hoppers....one starts hopping and then they all do. They look like pop corn popping.

  • This is a joyous video. Had me laughing till I cried!

  • I like how they are still for a bit and then start rapidly jumping again.

    Very cute.

  • you laugh now but if they actually get out...

  • Their so cute! I love how one is white/tan while all the others are black.

    This is so cute.

  • makes me laugh, i want mice now

  • thats halirous

  • I bet these mice kick ass at musical chairs :P

Apparently they call it the "flea stage" for good reason! My baby mice never hopped around like that.

  • one time my baby mice i was holding one, and it jumped out of my hand and came my cat and ina fast swift motion swooped him off the floor and killed it then ate it and i was like, ooo damn! poor baby mouse he was the only one that didnt run away when i tried to pick one up..

  • @frankster262 Why the fuck would you have baby mice in the same building with a cat?!

  • @OutdoorDreamer733 I have two cats, two dogs, a gecko, a hedgehog, and a bird. Guess what. I have three mice too, and ones about to give birth. *end of the world*

No, most of us are actually responsible pet owners, and don't let our cats get to the mice.

  • @jesusXdiablo Awesome.

  • Popcorn:)

  • aww, mousies :D

  • aww so cute i have 2 black ones my favorite one has a ash colored under belly

  • i love the little jumping beans!

  • why did you feed those babies mexican jumping beans!!!!???!?!??!

  • Thats sooo cute!

  • They really don't like that container, it reminds me when i clean my four mice tanks, though the parents and babies don't jump as much. XD

You must have gave them energy drinks.

or they don't like something in the cage like a smell.

  • awww there cute wish i could have mice ... my dog would probably try to eat them if i had some

  • hahahaha look at em all!!! : D

  • Cute! Looks like they're having fun! :)

  • Mommy Mouse: Phew, we're safe! *sits in a corner*

Baby Mice: MOUSEPILE ON MOMMY!! *jump*

  • That cage is waaayyy to small. :-/

  • @Electricspaceodyssey that's obviously not his normal cage. i have a holding tank like this one here. it's for temporary use for when you don't want them in their cage for some time. like when you're cleaning it.

  • Why are they in such a small cage?...

  • @linzee4584 its a holding cage for temporary use while the actual tank is being cleaned.

  • Sugar Rush?

  • You know, crack cocaine isn't exactly the best treat for a mousie lol

  • ahh " hoppers"

  • My baby gerbils were like that!

  • lol popcorns!!

  • My babies never jumped like that. It's cute! :o)

  • hahaha.. they're humping the walls.. xD

  • Thats a small cage

  • Invisible Tramp :O

  • the rats are jumping cuz they feel uncomfortable in that tight space !

  • is that why they're called hoppers at a certain age?

  • It looks like a bunch of fire crackers have just went off in that cage :P

  • popcorn

  • How old are they? :-)

  • Cant remember exactly, its been 3 years after the video. About 2-3 weeks I think.

  • @Elvenin dont u think they need a bit of a biggercage?

  • the mom mouse looks annoyed

  • HAHAHA. That's so adorable. Everyone goes completely still....and suddenly they just go crazy like that. 8D

  • befor my rat died when i cleaned his cage i just cept him on my sholder

  • ahaha thats soo funny and i do the exact same thing with my bunny's!! We put them in a littler cage just to clean the bigger cage! ahaha i have reading abilities!! ahahah but thats funny!

  • give them a bigger cage that is suffocation!!!!

  • And once again, a person with no reading abilities. MY MICE DO NOT LIVE IN THAT CONTAINER! It is just for cleaning their cage.

  • oh woops sorry like u even said!!!!!

  • @Elvenin a person with no reading abilities, yet is literate enough to type is a freaking genius in my book.

  • @Elvenin I do the same :) how often do you clean yours?

  • I use the same kind of container to put my mice in when I'm cleaning they're cage, but the lid is white on mine xD

  • The "popcorn" way they act is a normal stage for mice after they are weaned.

  • Finally someone smart. =)

  • @raysangel1973 my mice never did that~ :) its like they were tamed right after

they also like to climb on my hand right away when I put my hand in their cage

  • Yo snakes are cool and stuff but I have a little mouse for a pet, my very first pet in fact, and I could never feed it to a snake, not even if that snake was like '' Feed me that mouse and I'll grant you 3 wishes '' I'd be like '' No you lost your credibility in the Adam and Eves story ! ''

  • Some females have that problem. That's why you need to keep more females than you think you would need, cause all of them wont do anything. After a month or 2 with no pinkies, freeze the female and get another one. You can also try another male, he could be the problem.

  • you are bein soo crawl to them mice, the cage is soo small of course they would be jumping because they wanna get out you twat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where do they breed these idiots? USA probably... Stupidest place ever. CANT YOU READ! Cause Im getting tired of repeating myself.

My mice DO NOT live in that container. They were only there for cleaning their cage.

  • Why dont you buy dead mice? they have feeling to you know?

Its like your in the jungle scared and a lion come running tords you and eating you alive!!

  • Buy dead mice? And not to know how they have been treated, what have they been eating? How can I tell if they are good food for my snake, maybe they have been starving?

If I breed myself, I know what my snakes are eating. Besides, those 'dead' mice you buy, have feelings too. How were they killed? They were not born dead you know.

  • Jumping jellybeans XD

  • LOL its stops for a moment then they start jumpin again xD

    They are like popcorn lmao

  • ahaha It's like popcorn xD

  • omg

  • Why dont you READ before writing. Mice DO NOT live in that container!

  • Why dont you READ before writing. Mice DO NOT live in that container!

  • lol. thats so cute and funny

  • cant yeh see theres a bigger cage under it

  • Feeder mice, I got 2 snakes.

  • how horrible

  • I don't get it: are these feeder mice?

Surely you don't keep them as pets!

  • That's awesome. I once saw a mouse jumping in the corner of it's cage at a pet store.

  • at 0:18 they all land on their mom

  • once they open their eyes, they go into their hopping stage, once they're older, they calm down

  • there's a token white baby! hahahahahaha

  • rats!

  • Mice! I have been breeding mice for 10 years, you would think I know the species by now.

  • Comment removed

  • They are definitely mice! I have mice now and have raised them in the past. They appear large because they are in a small container while their home is being cleaned.

  • They aren't mice! they're rats! They're too big to be mice!

  • Mice. Rats look different.

  • That is funny! Would be great to have some fast music playing to it. *mosh pit* !!!

  • OMG THATS TOURCHER

how can you keep them in asmal place liek that

they need stimulation thatswhy there jumping they tryin to get out you guys are so crule

  • Are you retarded LOL

If you knew anything about owning a mice ( or even looked what that carrier was standing on: go figure, their cage. ) you'd know they are in that carrier because their cage is being cleaned.

  • i was gonna say the same until i saw ur reply and i was like "yeaah they are in a carrier"

  • Dude I seriously think that u need to get a bigger cage for them.. thatsd kindaaa like an insect cage ! REad osomething will yaaah

  • Why dont YOU read something?! As I have told many times before, MY MICE DO NOT LIVE IN THAT CONTAINER! IT'S ONLY FOR TRANSPORTATION AND CLEANING THE BIGGER CAGE!

  • I call it the 'popcorn phase'-- you have to have seen popcorn popping in a pan to appreciate that-- and it's also called 'the flea stage' because the jump like fleas. Awesome video!

  • im SO glad i got my mice after the jumping stage lol

  • hahahahaha they're so funny! I love them!

  • hahaz...

    are they on cocaine??????????

    lolz

  • mother mouse looks like a rat???

  • i have my mom and babys in a carrier like that to live. pregnant and nursing moms don't need much space because all they have time to do is eat sleep and drink. thosebabies have moved on to hoppers and should soon be removed from the cage but that doesn't mean that it is not ok to put them in there

  • o unless its a carrying cage? coz thers no toys or water? but anywey hopefully from my other comment other people wont think its ok to keep mice like tht, only if its a carrying case lol but anywey ther beautiful babies :p

  • lol my mice are at this stage. i like to call it the flee stage, and from this vid u can c why :D the thing is i think the cage is two small, which is why they scraping at the wall, they feel too confined. if ur worried about them escaping just buy a cage with small bars. and anywey a few of mine escape once in a while but ther no problem to catch.

  • i had 2 mice my white one died i miss him.him name was scampy.we still have scram a black and white.they were $3.30 each

  • thats how blueberry and midnight act when i try to cleaan there cage!! lol funny!

  • wtf?! 0.o

  • wow this is not fast forward?....then thats fast lol

  • Yes carton is very good for mice, it provides hiding places and gives them something to do. Maybe you can breed mice when you get older and dont need to ask from anyone what you can do.

  • Video is in real time. ;) Breeding does not take lot of time, but it takes lot of money. You need lot of containers, waterbottles, and other stuff. And mice eat a lot!

5 mice eat 1kg dryfood every month. 10 mice eat 2kg, and if you have 50 mice... That's LOT of food.
