I play them both, but Which one is better depends on the system. For the wii, rock band is better because you don't need remotes for the insturments. For all other systems, guitar hero is better. The insturments are way better to play with. The only thing rockband has is dlc and a few good disc songs but if you can't get online, there's no way to get dlc, so your stuck with a limit of good songs.

#1 in rock band, people think tht wt got the idea of the drums and mic, but rock band took the idea of the coloured gems..... (green,red,yellow,blue and orange)

Guitar Hero is overrated. It releases too many games, which are basically the same: Guitar Hero 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Band hero, DJ Hero, Aerosmith, Metallica, it's stupid. Also, in England it costs like £50 more just for a few more songs. I got Rock band and the full band kit for just £80 ($120) brand new. Also the drums are cooler on Rock Band

Rockband is nice and all but unless ur on hard or expert on guitar or bass it SUX!!! Guitar Hero at least makes the medium mixes more challenging.
