K yea I'm gonna try and get into some more backcountry next year and I just wanna know stuff about it. So how do u get out? Do u just hike to highway and get a shuttle back to vail
@NothinButPow East Vail chutes can be dangerous. This is on the north side of the highway, out of my friends backyard though. Probably not as bad as the south side because it does get a lot of sun. It is melting away right now. You can always check Colorado Avy Info Center.

around ten feet, lands in a lane. those willow bushes are really brittle but they do whip you some times
