Aww...........this is so cute I wish my two cockatiels had something like that to play with and then just watch in amusement how they share it hehe, I have two cockatiels and two parakeets, the most friendliest bird out of all of them is Peaches, Smokey is alittle stubborn but he allows me to get close and kiss his little head and pet him. I'm thinking of a way to train Smokey so he can forget his horrible past since he has been with me for 3 years before I actually got him.

@Dragonesa41083 yea, i hate when cockatiels are "spolied" by uncaring and uneducated owners. I had a bird like that and i under-stand how frustrating it is for you to teach them to trust people once again. i finally tamed my bird though, good luck with yours

Perhaps... But despite his biting ways, I still allow him out of the cage. I don't want him cooped up. He'll just get all sour, and I don't want one solitary cage bird.

But I took him out recently, and... he isn't throwing himself as much to bite. He still wants to, but it's not as bad. I'll work on him. :3

I have two cockatiels and two parakeets. x3 We found the first parakeet outside, and bought another for him. The male cockatiel I had first before all of them. The female I have now... Is the last. The only thing is... The male cockatiel is very aggressive and has bitten and drawn blood before, mostly my dad. xD Ahem. Anyway. The female on the other hand is all about having attention.

The male has always been aggressive... Why is that? :/ I've tried everything. Let him out, etc....

He may simply be scared. There are lots of videos on youtube about training birds. They might be particularly helpful to you. Also, check around some forums. There are some useful information on them.

cool ! never thought of using a big stick like that as a toy but ur's seem 2 enjoy it by the way they say that males have darker orange spots on face and the females is usually lighter ! not a great way to sex but may help

Try giving your birds a variety of perch thicknesses in the cage as those thin rods are cruel and hurt there feet after a while. Best thing to do would be use a natural tree branch. They will enjoy the change and also love to chew the bark off :) Makes them feel more like they are outside

Thanks you gave me some awesome ideas for my Cockatiel! Her name is Zeuse I got her from an Ex don,t know how old she is I am guessing 10 or close. Very healthy and flies every day. Uses my head as her landing pas lol. I will have to record and post it some day. Thanks for the inspirational clip!
