  • British By Birth ... Geordie By The Grace Of God

Got To Love Our Accent Best IN The World Man

  • I'm a Gerdie and think this is funny as f*** I just wanna clench me fists and bash somebody

  • This is absolutely hilarious

  • Well i'm geordie anyway, but i'm still British.........Champion! haha

  • That Is the worst geordie accent ive ever heard x

  • @TheKelseyMichele The guy interviewed as this character is Geordie. So his accent is just as genuine as any other Geordie accent.

  • i'd like to see a janner one

which are the nickname for people with a strong plymothian accent in the sw

Like that "green army" advert years ago

    aaarite big dave

  • Geordie Mouse, brilliant & so funny. Howay The Lads

  • I just think this video is dead hilarious. I see no intention whatsoever on looking down on Geordies. I think their accent is just brilliant!!!

I can't think of a better end for the video: "Champion"!!! My students used to say that all the time.

  • vote bnp :)

  • WATCH THIS WITH TRANSCRIBE AUDIO... omg lol so bad recognition

  • Great stuff but Britons is plural!

    Not Britain.

  • Eeeeee I'm a Brummie but Geordie is my favourite British accent.

  • "An its like you feel you`re fists clenching an you wanna bash somebody" funny & true, LOL. Champion

  • How long does it take to learn the geordie accent

  • How long is a piece of string?

  • twice as long as from one end to the middle!!

  • CHAMPION!

  • Hahah that is mint i'm a Geordie and a can understand it perfectly, i have no idea why other people can't.

  • Pure brilliance.

  • i never know what theyre saying

  • Hehehe, champion! My mate Vic was this famous voice............I call him 'a geordie on speed' coz he usually talks so bloody quickly! Howay Vic, alreeeeeet mate!

  • lessitmanwillyers

  • Funniest thing ive seen in ages. Brilliant

  • Hiya Kidda - for them that wants a translation like - aave attached "Larn Yersel'Geordie"

Tarra fur noo- Sheila from sandancer

  • Wel aye they would make the geordie a fukin rat wudn't they!! Bastards!

  • @Rudas2007 He's a mouse not a rat. It's funny because he's pugnacious but he's small. If he were an attack dog, it wouldn't be funny.

  • @major600 yeah. im not actually offended

  • @Rudas2007 Geordie *mouse*

  • 2that knob benlu he isnt saying rules he is sayin rule thats just wot it sounds like sum times when we say rule so next time get yer facts reet b4 u start callin a geordie mouse areet lol

  • It wouldn't be one tenth as funny if they'd made Geordie another animal. A pugnacious "wee moose" is way funnier than a pugnacious bear, or something like that.

  • Err, he doesn't say "rules". He has an accent so it just sounds like it. He's kind of saying it like "rule zee waves" only not exactly like that..there you go.

  • he meks is proud 2be a geordie like and mint vid as well

  • the mouse is mint like meks yer proud 2be a geordie its funny as fuck like

  • my name is Geordie :P

  • Sorry to be a pedantic twat but it's 'Britannia RULE the waves' not RULES.The song is asking Britannia to rule the waves rather than declaring a fact.

  • I never knew that! I do now, thankyou. Turns out it is angels telling Britannia to rule the waves. cool.

  • im a geordie too

  • LMAO im a geordie and proud!!!! lmao at sunderland rules!!! there shite

  • What a cute little mousie, the Geordie thing makes him even cuter :-D

  • I was born in the year of the rat! lol

  • what does mackam mean?

  • someone from sunderland

  • rafertyraff, a geordie isn't from sunderland there from newcastle. Mackem's are from sunderland.

  • yeah , i know, was replying to pengwaa asking what does mackam mean

  • Geordies are really just anyone from the North East, because the Geordie lamp was invented up here, for use down the mines whereas everyone else used one called the Davy lamp. Between miners the word Geordie started coming up to describe a North Easterner, and this eventually became anyone with a Geordie accent. Then after the mines closed it just became to refer to people from Newcastle for some reason.

  • Wrong! Geordies are from Newcastle only.

  • Newcastle + Gateshead if you want to be specific. Where do you think the Blaydon races comes from? Blaydon is in Gateshead.

  • No, that is what is meant by the term now, but it was originally anyone from the North East. This is fact, if you want to argue it maybe you should learn about the subject first. I am from the North East, where are you from?

  • Well my mum's from Hexham and lived in Newcastle throughout all her childhood, as well as that both of my parents taught in Newcastle on top of which my Grandmother's side of the family are all Mackams.

  • Okay, well have you ever bothered to look up the history of the word 'Geordie', cos I'll think you'll find that what I said is right. Whether you like it or not :-p.

    Dan

  • its either george ll or george stephenson( geordie lamps opposed to davey lamps for miners) As geordie is a well known slang name for northern pit-men, the latter sounds convincing.

  • anybody born within three miles north of the tyne is officially a geordie! i think

  • Yeah, but it all started with the Geordie lamp, or at least that's the most widely held story.

I was born within 3 miles North of the river Tees (Tynes biggest tributary), does that make me a half Geordie? :-p

I was also born within 3 miles of the river Skerne... which I think makes me a mutant :-s

    Dan

  • think the term geordie comes from king george, not sure why but will find out.

  • 3 miles north of the tees? that makes u a smoggie then haha

  • No, that's only in boro :-p

  • aye and 3 miles north of the tees is still boro. put it this way ur definately not a geordie if ur 3 miles north of the tees, nowhere near

  • I never said I was Geordie ;-). 3 miles north of the Tees is not necessarily boro because the Tees is a long river :-p. I'm from much further up the river in Darlington.

  • lol be darlo proud ;D haha (like mee)

  • Haha I am :-p. We invented the trains for fucks sake! We connected the world and started the industrial revolution :-D

I noticed on your profile you said it's in County Durham, it's not, hasn't been since the mid 90s, we're a UA, we have no county.

    Dan

  • lol how come when in the news or paper it says- darlington, county durham? lol x

  • I'm not sure, everyone seems to think it's in county Durham, but I'm absolutely certain it's a unitary authority.

  • ohh :P X

  • Darlo is a unitary borough in what is known as a the ceremonial county of Durham, i think it was about 1997 or 98 it came under the control of Durham council for some daft reason lol it should have it's own council, it's quite a big area.

  • I was with a mate of mine from Durham tonight, and we were both saying how Darlo should be the county authority, being the fact that it is much larger.

  • and a tak'em is from Seaham!

  • Haha geordie and proud!

  • That just about sums geordies up.

  • geordies suck - mackems all the way

  • Haha, nah mate.

Mackhem think there better but you stole "howay the lads", big eh ?

Geordies all the way ! (Y)

  • its actually ha'way the lads

  • Lols, so I spell it different.

    And ?

    Oh nice lose yesterday. (:

  • yeah well that bastard of a manager is doing a good job isn't he?

  • Lmao.

Admittedly Newcastle haven't been playing their best no. But I do have pride. = ]

If you hate Geordie's why you watching this ? You could always find the Mackham bug or something =]

    Oh and reply to 2205923358:

You may tell me to shut up but have you got the balls to do it ?

  • you need to learn how to fucking spell

  • Oh, why thank you for pointing that out.

Why don't you list the words I spelt wrong and h ow to spell them correctly ?

You appear to think your an English teacher.
