Some parts were too rushed, especially when you moved up an octave. Try to keep the palm of your hands above the keys while your playing as well, gives better movement and just generally looks better. Timing was a bit off as well, but overall I liked your rendition of it.

Yep, Hikari actually mean "light" In japanese. But the two songs are really that different. Utada Hikaru translated this song into english, and by doing so, had to change some parts to match the words. So the two song are kinda the same, just a slight difference in the melody.

I think they did, I certainly don't remember the roll up, and I've heard this song numerous times, but I must admit, it is really cool sounding with the roll going up, then playing it higher!
