@jakeelite557 The Arbiter in the Halo trilogy, Thel 'Vadamee, was previously a Supreme Commander in the Covenant fleet, having commanded the ships that follow the human vessel Pillar of Autumn to Halo during the events of Halo: Combat Evolved. However, the term 'shipmaster' is not to be confused with Rtas 'Vadum, the "half-jaw" elite they call "shipmaster" in Halo 3.

Here's is a fun fact: The rank Arbiter actually at first was a very high rank that was only given to the most skilled of the Sangheili warriors and made it's first appearance in "The Taming Of The Hunters" and the Arbiter helped greatly in the war to make the Hunters submit to the Covenants side.

I was confused about that i played reach but not the other halo series and on waypoint they were talking about arbitar and like TheAkib123 said. I got confused because he was good in halo 2 and 3 but bad in halo wars. So those are two diffrent elites then and an Arbitar is a high rank one.

1 it is called a cryo tube

2 it doesnt really freezes them it just makes the tube nice and cold so you can relax and sleep because it is not easy to sleep in armour

3 spartan 117 is john also known as master cheif but he doesnt get trown into space the explotion of the ark made a portal that teleported master chief and the friget into another part of the universe but the portal blowed when he went in
