  • We´re on road to nothing, but nothing´s gonna stop me!!

  • lol it took ages to release diddnt it.. haha

  • Some badass metalcore right there.

  • Normally I would despise this kind of music, but something about this band appeals to me, but I have no idea what the fuck it is and it's bugging the shit outta me

  • @AwesomeSauce64 well thats because LOSTPROPHETS kick your ass with this song so it's bugging you like shit hahaha

  • @tonypurkin2 No. That's not it, but horrible guess anyway.

  • The live version of waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy better.

  • JESUS CHRIST IT'S A LION GET IN THE CAR

  • lol ian forgot the words :L

  • Funny how 2 years ago they didn't have the "We got velocity" part, doesn't sound as good without it.

  • @RumKicker 2 years ago? It's a new song?!

  • @rjdas97 it was, it takes 2 and half years to be out

  • @rjdas97 This video is 3 years old now?! Believe it or not they write songs before they release them :O

  • love the breakdown :)

  • Dammit... Listening to this now im realizing how much i prefer the live pre-album versions to the studio versions of this, end of the world, and destroyer kinda... Man i wish they did a re recording of those... The songs on the betrayed are simply amazing but the production value is below decent at best... Well i guess the only thing to do is to get a mp3 of these youtube performences because they may never be played this way again unfortunately...

  • Compare this to the studio version. it shows how the drums really change the feel of the song. And really, that's my only complaint with the studio version of this song. They just need more Intense drums like on this live version.

  • i don't particularly like some of the songs on the new album. but seriously, they made 3 hit albums with not one bad song in the bunch, they could sing mary had a little lamb and id still be happy with what they have now

  • i luv all ur album

  • I love the new album!

  • definitely my favorite on the album!

  • the best of the album :D

  • GET IN THE CAR GET IN THE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing tune glad they are back although I would never try to see them as they would be too DAMN loud for whoever goes with me to see them.

  • @jamesfish18 Too loud? o.Ó

  • is the new album from lostprophets coming to america? because on itunes theirs barely anything for them but on the uk itunes you can pre-order it and everything. are htey leaving us!?!? :O

  • Jamie said they're working hard to sort a release in america.

  • on the US Amazon it says its released Feb 2nd

  • @ForebodinglyLost really? yay :D

  • ohh okay thanks[:

  • No problem

  • @Reaper1544 It's coming out February 2nd

  • well this albums lookin more promising than liberation transmission but sssssssstill not as good as start something, soppose nothin ever will tho its jst too good! lookin forward to getting this album tho :)

  • i don't think i can ever take this song seriously as there is a kid in my school who people take the piss out of by sayin 'get in the car', cos his dad used to say it to his mates in his old school...damn D:

  • GET IN THE CAR GET IN THE CAR

  • which genre is this song?

i thin post-hardcore or maybe metalcore

  • not metalcore lol

  • why not i think its harder then the most post-hardcore songs so maybe a bit metalcore

  • @juledahl

Sorry but... What is the post-hardcore you listen to? O.o

Bands such as House Vs. Hurricane Or something by Drop Dead Gorgeous for example are far different from this

  • the post-hardcore is listen to is (old) enter shikari and a day to remember

and if this song is not post-hardcore

tell me which genre this song is

  • I think it can easily be called Rock, without all its subgenres, this is far away from Enter Shikari or A Day To Remember.

  • rock^^ of course

    mh your meaning

    my meaning is its post-hardcore

  • why is this SO MUCH BETTER than the songs from their new album.

baaddd call lostprophets. or possibly your managers, idk.

    ):

  • @emmahasnerdytiemz 1)this is off their new album... 2) the band have control overthemselves. they produced and recorded the album by themselves. and ditch their american record lable so... dont really think u know what ur on about.

  • @5cr3am0 i didn't know that:o

    awesome .

  • omg i love this song, this song is the same to my ears as bacon to my stomach which is uber good! :P

  • this song is so fucking good. Where We belong and End of the World are okay but suck compared to this.

  • Get in the car!!!!!

  • I love this!

kind of going back to the old days :)

  • YW =D

  • or back when they were amazing: fake sond of progress, shinobi vs dragon ninja, kobrakai, five is a four letter word etc. :D x

  • to hell we ride, shinobi vs dragon, we are godzilla you are japan bascically most songs they do are good

  • two more months!!!!!! can't wait!!!

  • howw awsomee is thiss :D

ima get there new albumm obvs

im like there biggest fan :Dx

  • which songs are like TFSOP? SS? LT?

  • well Lostprophets wana play what they want and this album is a mix of all 3 so its for every single Lostprophet fan as it includes 3 different types of material so stop slating there stuff and just accept it if you really like them

  • i love all there albums and there new shit it rulez!!!!!!!!!! MEGALOLZ!

  • OMG! this is awesome!!!

    old skool lostprophets XD

  • This concert was amazing!! And I'm going watching them again tonight. Can't wait!

  • I've been searching for Lostprophets new songs, and found a few, but they're all either very 'fakesound' or very 'Liberation'.

I want some more 'Start Something' sounding tracks, and this is the only one that sounds like it could fit that album!

    Any recommendations??

  • what the fuck all FSOP or LT you mental destroyer is just like start something so is this song its more like a million miles as the screamo in this one is only in chorus and the others are more FSOP there is hardly any LT songs around except its not the end of the world

  • fucking tune!

  • This is the old lostprophets i know and love. None of this Liberation Transmission emo pop bullshit.

  • definately dude

  • only some of the songs. their are some gay Liberation songs on their new album.

  • tbh when jamie screams in star something i cum

  • Comment removed

  • Metalcore part at 1:50 and 2:50 win

But he rly gotta learn how to scream. x)

  • Breakdown doesn't automatically equal metalcore, but yeah, I'll agree with you that those parts are awesome ^_^ And yeah, Ian's not really the screamer in the band, Jamie is and has been since the start. Should leave it that way, Ian's singing's amazing and Jamie's screaming compliments it perfectly :)

  • I completely argee

  • wooo I was at this gig

Oh man this song really rocks. I can not wait at all until this new album finally comes out

It's going to be really good

    x

  • songs good.. the rest of the album will break lost prophets to pieces. :(

  • look up destroyer

that song and this one will make it for me

  • October 12 is going to be an amazing day

  • after hearing "the end of the world" this is the only reason i'm still buying their new album, if i hear another iffy song, i'm DLing it to check it first,

i pay for music, not mess

  • if you really like lostprophets you dont really notice a diffrence to me it all sounds cool

  • thats the stupidest thing i've ever read =|

ofcourse you notice a difference, if you put FSOP on then this, you'd notice a difference

and for your info i love this band o_O i have everything they've ever done including "Las Putas Celosas" they change there sound a bit with every album

but because you really like a band doesn't mean you have to love EVERYTHING they release, i'm a huge lostprophets fan, i just didn't connect asmuch with LT as with SS, FSOP

  • you know lostprophets real genre??

    AWESOME thats wat it is

  • THLOS is all ian its awesome WAGYAJ is mostly jamie so i love hansome life of swing

  • no it's really not =|

ian does ALL the recorded vocals all the screaming jamie only does it live,

at no point in the recording process does jamie do vocals

and WAGYAJ is farrrrrr better than THLOS (but i do love THLOS ;) it's just the production is 10x better on WAGYAJ)

  • THLOS = awesome

  • No. Handsome life is way better.

  • I can imagine so. Ians just shit at screaming. Should let Jamie do it.

  • ians scream is awesome just listen to the handsome life of swing that all ian

  • THLOS is probably the worst example of his screaming ever =P

check out We Are Godzilla You Are Japan (have i spelled that wrong =| it looks proper wrong!)

    much better screamy vocals

  • Comment removed

  • saw them last week in wolverhampton and believe me the new songs sound awesome. Heavier, but still catchy as fuck! Ian was right when he said the new albums like TFSOP, SS and LT together. Can't fucking wait.

  • Actually, Jamie was the one that said that in his Twitter. :)

  • oh cool lol theyve probably all said it but the pint is the new albums gona kick ass

  • liberation transmission was the best fuckin thing they've done!! actually, all the songs they have done are fuckin amazing!!

  • I hate the beginning screaming. The chorus is awesome though. This should have been their first single :)

  • :D:D

    lostprophets tomorrow

i cant wait n i hope they play this cause out of all the stuff ive heard from the new album this is my fav

  • January is like a half year away... but I'm happy because that will be something to kick off a good year with.

  • bollocks was this 2005. it was 2007.

  • wolvo! 26th!!!! thank fuck!!! i want lostprophets to get heavier and they have done!!! they need a bit more tho!

  • Yes i agree they've got heavier but if you check out the practice vid on their my space the bit at the start is a hell of a lot LESS heavy than this vid but towards the end of the new practice vid it does pick up a little like this ^ before going off :)

  • 0113gazzarocx - i agree but it sounds worse than average, but i'll wait for the studio version. I want more experimental stuff with jamie's decks like 'a million miles'.. but this does sound awesome too :)

  • "On August 5, Kerrang! magazine published a "world exclusive" article on Lostprophets, revealing the new album title as The Betrayed, due for release in January 2010. The album will have ten tracks, including "It's Not the End of the World", "Atrocity", "For He's a Jolly Good Fellon", "If It Wasn't for Hate" and "Betrayed"."

  • Seriously. :-o Last I heard was an august release and/or definitely a single in august.

This is such a bummer, can't wait anymore. They've pushed the release date so many times.

It's been three years since Liberation Transmission.

  • Ya but now its definitely coming out in january so its all good

  • Fellon is simply appauling!

  • im going to see them in newport 27th august, cant wait!

  • I actually do think The Blackout must of had an influence on Lostprophets, because this is a sort of The Blackout song, which I don't mind seeing as Lostprophets and The Blackout are my two favourite bands.

But i've heard them perform It's Not The End Of The World... blah blah live, and it in my opinion sucks, but I hope they have edited it in the new album, because if it's anything like Liberation Transmission, I will be pissed.

  • the song and lyrics r good but the chorus just sucks balls. they used to be known for not saying the song title in their songs like in fsop. this song and the dead is good but the rest idk we'll have to wait and see.

  • lostprophets and blackout are realy close kinda like QOTSA and foo fighters.

ian watkins was a guest at the blackouts new year gig/party

  • Yeah man, they are close, Sean even has a shirt that says "Ian Loves Me" , so yeah xD

  • I agree with you Azzabrown94, but I really do not think this is a good thing. i appreciate 'the blackout' are a popular band, but i find them extremely generic and boring.

one of the main reasons i am such a fan of Lostprophets is because they are different to other bands in the ways that every song (near enough) is different to the other. I don't like the way they are making themselves so generic, in the times of SS and FSOP Lostprophets were the leaders, now they are slipping into obscurity

  • Yeah, freroller, I know what you mean man, but if they're gonna do like a shitty liberation transmisson kinda album again, I would rather they sound more like The Blackout to be honest, because LT was so fucking shit, but i'm gonna be watching them at the Reading and Leeds, all they need is more distortion, and it won't sound as shit really, distortion is like medicine, makes everything better =]

  • i'm sure you've probably heard this already, but the new album is supposed to have the bite of start something, mixed with the catchiness of LT and the attitude of FSOP.

  • they'll never replicate their attitude from FSOP, simply because they were early 20's when they wrote that and they're in there early 30's now, with kids and everything they're totally different people

i wish they just wrote Start Something over and over again =P haha!

  • why dont you go and listen to the blackout then

  • Your all making it sound like I don't like Lostprophets, they're my favourite band man, i'm just saying,

More Liberation Transmission shit or something different?

I say something different, The Blackout was just an example, jeeeez.

  • who's going to see them in Newport on 27th August? I am!!! =D

  • WTF I was planning to have the album in my hands in a month, 4 year delayed, it's new release date is Jan 2010

  • youre kidding me right? are you serious, 2010? wtf i cant wait any longer lol. well maybe its for the best. the album better be sick nasty then lol

  • this just sounds like a shit "the Blackout" song.

i am. to say at least. unimpressed.

this is not the lps i fell inlove with.

nawh. i dont think im gunna bother waiting for these boys anymore!

  • 2010... they lied! they said it was coming this month or next but no! they had to delay it again after years of waiting, this time for no reason! WTF!!!

  • can't wait early 2010 for listen this

  • anyone comin to manchester to see them on 25th august?

  • I AM!

    Unsuprisingly.

  • Luke johnson from Beat Union joined their band like a couple of days ago.

  • I think all of those are on there, except the dead which is really stupid cuz that is an awesome song. Maybe they just heard panic switch by silversun pickups, which pretty much has the same riff, and abandoned the song. Who knows, maybe it is on the album and their just not telling us.

  • Next stop Atrocity, For hes a jolly good felon, the dead, it's not the end of the world but I can see it from here, these streets of nowhere...I smell a hit album.

  • yea to fucking bad there not including any of those songs, well maby some, the dead isnt on it for sure.

  • i think alls they gotta do now is the track listing and artwork

  • Come on guyss!!

I want this new album NOW!

They have to come to Argentina on their tour!

  • omg this is lostprophets! THE NEW ALBUM WILL BE AWESOME!!

i wana see more shinobi shit :D

  • WOW!!!! freakin awsome

  • woah. Nearly 55,000 views. Thanks everyone

  • damn that hits ya

  • I FREAKIN LUV THEM ;O

I can't hold on to August I want it now!! :')

  • HOLY FUCKING SHIT YESSSSSSS, i miss this old lostprophet sound

  • lets hope it has more like this. the other "new" songs on here arent great. fake sound of progress was their best by far..

  • SHE FUCKING LOVES ME

  • SHE FUCKING LOVES ME (too) :P

  • GET IN THE CAR! GET IN THE CAR!

KEEP ON RUNNING BUT U WON'T GET FAR!

    WE'VE GOT VELOCITY!

    NEXT STOP ATROCITY!

    Know when will come out?

  • summer propbably, august, july... i think

  • they said august or september...one of those months for sure...XD

  • yay :D

  • OH MY FUCKING GOD. that was awesome.

  • so saugeil man.

    bloody awesome.

    lp are back again.

    finally.

    just three months or sth

  • Im pretty stoaked after seeing this... It sounds like they returned a bit to their roots with the music.

Lee's guitar sounds mean again but still melodic!

  • GET IN THE CAR, GET IN THE CAR!!!!

  • Wen does the single come out?

  • end of july/early august i would imagine

  • i fort it was end of june :S

  • well, i think it was mike, that said the new album will be out round the END of summer, in time for reading fest... so... the first single should be out, bout 3 weeks before? so... either july or august

  • It was supposed to April -.-'

  • Yeah i heard that as well April 9th the first single was suspose to hit i heard.

  • esta loquisima

  • Wiki isnt really a good place to get your info from, considering anyone can write anything on wiki...

    Amso ;)

  • 19/4/OHSE7EN!

I was there too...this was so long ago I forgot they played this! I remember thinking it was pretty hardcore thou :D roll on new album!

  • It's not actually, it's called "It's not the end of the world, but I can see it from here" or so they've said.

  • far too long. album names should be short and sweet. fall out boy and panic did the whole.. 'lets give everythign huge names'... it's rediculous. but i cannot fuckgin wait for this album, im dying to hear a studio version of this!

  • ya but LostProphets has always used long names for their songs and they always make their albums long too

they dont like short and sweet they wanna be long and rough ^^

  • like them both,

love EVERYTHING of the prophets <3

  • I love how it just goes into the song To Hell We Ride at the end

  • sounds bitchin' awesome

  • i really wanna hear the studio version ...

    i love lp btw.

  • This is great!!! The perfect combo of the new and old Lostprophets! Can´t wait till the new single (april) and album (june) to come out. I´m waiting for it .

  • Love this song! Can't wait until the 4th album!!!

  • Aw man I love this song.

Cannot wait for the single and album.

And a tour would be perfect!

I was at that gig 19/04/07...way too long ago.

Definitely time for a new one.

  • i really dont like this route, particularly after "pop" album liberation transmission

it seems like they cant stick to a genre

the first two albums were miles better as it was written in a more natural fashion, like they were writing music that came naturally however these mroe recent two albums are written into styles which didnt/dont suite lostprophets i'm dissapointed really!

  • The song fits perfectly to them.

Dunno what you want to tell.

It's all about the own opinion.

    My opinion: DAiMNFUCKINGAWESOME! *____*

Can't fucking wait for their new album! They are the best. EVER.!

  • Oh my Fucking god I need to see the LPs some time soon.

    I love them so hard.

  • sick breakdown

  • Hooray For the return of the Louder LP!

Pity there old drummer couldnt be around for it

  • Yellowcard's drummer will..

  • Yellowcards drummer isnt joining lp

  • Lol?

  • can't wait for album...i need it.

  • the Album Is coming out in June, Fo hes a jolly good felon is the first single to come out in april, The album is called "It's Not the End of the World but I Can See it From Here" And thats also a song on the album

  • Expect it in the summer. Gotta perfect it obvs.

  • nah first single is felon which is out 6th april then albums out sometime in june
