@arabjin666 I do see your point but GG probably didn't understand was that the corrupters were kinda useless besides their acid spray after the collosus were dead. However, Moon left them in combat as meat fodder (Units that would take some stalker shots instead of his hyrdas that were actually useful). I don't think he accidentally left them there if that made any sense...
@kevinhdo90 sc2 ai (or a smart enough person) would have had the stalkers attack the hydras, because they're the units attacking them. interesting tactic that ultimately ended in a waste of corruptors.
lol.... Coooweee, Fat cake eating colossus! Great games to AcE, a well deserved winner of the torney. I think he went through the entire torney with only losing 2 games, thats an amazing record!
ACE the come back of the korean StarCraft dominance? Now in SC2? Well done ace. On side note: Ace is a very efficient player but I have to say that I think his playstyle isn't very entertaining. Yeah I know if he wins that is good enough but I prefer whiteRa or Huk they play with more variate and are more fun to watch in my point of you. But that's just a viewer's comment as a player I have to say amazing.
@Nairot ace defeated whitera earlier on in the tournament. personally I find his tactics with the underrated phoenix far more entertaining that whitrera's and huk's more conventional methods of play.
You realize that the only time that Ace made phoenixes, he lost the game? The phoenix isn't underrated, it's just a weak unit, that's why huk and whitera don't use them.
@PhlegmMaster he beat whitera using phoenix play... as I already explained. phoenixes build quickly and are capable of incapacitating units for 10 seconds, and do 20 damage to light units! it's ironic that in trying to explain the phoenix as weak, you've just supported the notion that it's underrated. if you think it's weak, you haven't learned to use them properly... I slightly pity you
@PhlegmMaster It's not a weak unit. It's just very micro intensive, so unless you're REALLY good, and huk and whitera are not REALLY good with them yet, you will screw up your macro. A good video is hongunprime vs LiquidJinro game 2 GSL March.
Cheers for this series mate I really wanted to see it and yours was one of the first. I liked the dual screen action when there was two battles going on as well. Good luck in the future as a caster.
Moon wasted like 10 corrupters for no good reason. And going for hydra to protoss that has colossi is retarted. That zerg player would of of done much better if he had went for ultras and infestors.
@arabjin666 The corrupters are to nullify the collosus b/c collosus would kill all zerg armies like nothing. And when they were left doing 'nothing,' they were left as meat shields because they can absorb damage from mis-micro management from the other player. Overall, moon just needed more hydras in that big battle
I understand that corrupters counter colossi. I just don't understand why moon didn't move his corrputers away from the line of fire when all the colossi were gone. On numerous incidents moon sacrificed corrupters for no good reason. It was his poor micro that lost him the game.
@arabjin666 the corruptors were drawing fire form the stalkers so the hydras could do more damage. it's extremely hard for zerg to get the right unit composition against a death ball. let me guess, you play as terran.
Yep, Koreans are better players in general than non-Koreans. However, there is a reason. If you looked at the kind of lives the korean progamers live then you wouldn't be envious of their ability to play. What they gain in the game is taken away from other life skills and social aspects.
You might have a ghost of a point had I been talking about computer games only. However, I did mention lifestyle and social aspects. Keep on point ^_^
@HumaninSeoul ...more like korean pro's literally "train" in sc2, teams even have coaches. any person of any nationality in capable of the same thing.
protoss is fucked he had 1 collosus in 1 part of the game and had like 30 stalkers and zerg had bout 30ish hydras 11 lings 5 corrutpors and still lost fuckin bulshit?
@ppofnz You just started the reason - Moon spent way too much money on Corruptors when Ace wasnt very heavily invested in Colossi. He should have spent that money on Broodlords/Infestors/Muta harass or any number of things.
The protoss kinda waited for like 3 more colossi and like 5 more sentrys before attacking. He was very cautious. Moon lost that game because he wasted far too many corrupters for no good reason.

@ggurface I think he was saying TLO, as TLO was in the game as a spectator, you see him leave at the end.
