@sonalsamson It was a snowflake set made by SpellbindersPaperArts(dot)com. They had two different Create a Flake sets ($24.95) that you could layer at the time I bought mine, but I see they have a new one out this year and don't have the other two on their main site. If you googled it, you might still find it for sale at another craft site or even locally. I hope that helps. :)
@alilala27 We wore out the first set of B plates (5.99 at JoAnns online), but you have to figure that we were cutting 6 dies for each card and made 120 Christmas cards and we had cut out many other dies with them before we started on the Christmas cards--so the set lasted for probably over 800-900 die cuts. Buy extra sets, for sure! Especially if you do a lot of die cutting.
@alilala27 That's the only part that needs replacing--the (cutting) B plates. We love-love-love the Cuttlebug!! I'm sure you will just love it, too, and find you are using it a lot. The embossing plates are such fun and so easy to use, too.
I made my husband and girls watch this video - I had to prove that I am not the only person who saves every little possible thing and scrap because everything has possible scrapping value! You just never know when you might need some of those small negative pieces! Thanks for showing them that their Mom isn't the only one who refuse to throw anything away. Actually my family used the term, "Pack-rat" but I didn't think that was fair.
Oh you really gave me a giggle! My son, Dagan, is used to Leah and I--but most people think we have OCD because of how we save and organize everything! As far as saving all the scraps and such--we like to think of it as recycling!! Just tell them they are for recycling. That's good for the earth, right? ROFL!!
@625sandra Thanks so much, 625sandra! You're right! Leah and I just started talking about making Christmas cards for 2010! We are slow, too--so we have to start very early. And even then we are often scrambling to get them done--hehe! But cardmaking is such fun, tho. All worth it. ;)
So glad you liked them. They were time consuming, but so much fun to put together. You could make something similar with what you have it sounds like. Have fun. Glad you stopped by. Come back any time! :)
Well, it wasn't that it was hard or difficult work--but just very time consuming. Funny how Leah and I tend to pick out Christmas cards that take forever to make--hehe! :)
Loved your cards. Could you please tell me the name/Number of these dies? Thanks

I just got a cuttlebug. How long to you find the B plates to last? Mine is already scratched up and warped.
