almost every review i have seen ppl complain about the tuning on the guitar and most of these ppl consider themself musicians first of all they are all kinds of tuning out there it all depends on your style if u don't like it don't listen to it

This pedal is a total waste of money. It's unusable. It totally muddies up the sound. Transparent, my ass! The more you turn the knob, the more bass you add to the sound, and the more treble you cut.

@blacklabelmansociety through a solid state amp, it is simply a volume boost. through a tube amp, it increases the gain and the actual volume.

Bought one of these back in 1970(?). Made my noisy Twin very noisy, but the overdrive was amazing... It plug ged straight into the guitar and was very unwieldy. Replaced it with a LPB-2, which was a pedal. Still very noisy...

I finally got one and I wish I would have spent the money long ago.

It's pretty awesome at giving my tube amps a killer natural light overdrive.

I was going to use it as a boost for solos, but I;m not sure what to do now because I like to leave it on all the time.

Respectfully, I think your demo misses the point of the LPB-1 by using a direct solid state preamp. Into a tube amp is where it comes alive, for me anyway.

I see lot of metal bands use their tube amps drive channel and they boost it with a tubse screamer to get that really heavy chunky metal tone. So this pedal is good for this? To boost the gain of my tube amp and get an even heavier sound?

I'm sorry but you took over 7 minutes to demo a one function pedal with one knob... seriously? You could've done this whole video in less than a minute.

@iscareuiknowit: I did a complete and through video of the pedal in its entirety. I covered every aspect about it with sound samples. That kind of thing will take up time. If you dont like the video make your own, or better yet just watch a different one.

I'm not trying to insult you, I'm just saying that if you want to make good product reviews that get a lot of hits, we don't need to know what kind of guitar you're playing, you amp, your setting, your cables, what shoes you're wearing, we just need a clean tone, and then 2 or 3 different setting on the pedal. DONE.
