This picture is adorable, though I'm suprised Tsukasa [or whatever her name was, the purple-haired twin with the big yellow ribbon] is okay with the pose. Isn't pointing at someone rude in their culture?
@PrincesTomboy Yes, the purple-haired twin with the yellow ribbon is Tsukasa. Konata, the blue-haired creature, is not pointing someone. She is just showing the strange mark in her index finger. Or maybe this is a reference to the "Da-da-da-da-da!" in the oppening song.
@Futurhunk I dont remember if the song was in the show but i do know that it was sung by the lucky star voice actors for konata, tsukasa, kagami, and miyuki.
it'z a cute picture, i even think that the uniform looks good in pink. But the purple is original. so yea...... what if they tried green?? o.o idk if that'd look good at all!
Personally, I might be a fan, but I wouldn't call myself otaku unless you're Japanese and understand the history behind it. I'm a pretty hardcore fan, but I don't go by otaku. The history behind it is to rough.
@CelsiusSnowe well technically... Otaku means really really really really big fan. It can apply to anything. However, over the years, it has become increasingly related to anime/manga.
@Kayem237 What he wanted to say is, that in Japan the word "Otaku" is rather used as an Insult than a way to describe someone who is "just" a fan, no matter how big. In it orignial meaning, Otaku describes some "creep" who is totally obsessed with something (mainly, anime) and a disgrace to his or her family.
@ubercool117 Well, personaly I think calling yourself an Otaku isn't bad or anything, but the majority of people (even more so amongside the hardcore fans) people who call themselves this are considered idiots or "weeaboos" - So I just wanted to explain that so he/she won't get "bullied" for it later on.
@ShinRo90 Ya i know your just trying to help people who don't know the meaning of it. (insert when konata said "Good job" after miyuki turned of the lights at the library in what i think was episode 2 or 3)
@zanener Eh... sorry but first of, wtf does "actsindently" mean? I got no clue, sorry. And I called nobody an otaku in anyway. Please explain how you got to that conclusion.
@EggManStudio As I said befor. I got nothing against the "otaku's" itself (rather, I'm one of them) but I just wanted to explain that the term itself - has a rather negativ meaning attached to it. Because of that, people who like anime like I and the rest do, but don't want to get "insulted"/"flamed" for it should rather call themselfs "fans" than otakus. Though, for people who really want to flame guys like us, the therm we use doesn't really matter anyway.
@kdfljgfldghldfgshdfl Well, as long as you don't mind being "flamed" for calling yourself an Otaku, all is well. I wouldn't really mind it either. IMO, the important thing is, to tell people who WOULD mind it, that this is gonna happen eventually if they do call themselvs Otaku.
Just now realized that Yui and Kuroi-sensei are in the backgroung.

I think a blue uniform for would go with Tsukasa and Kagami well, it'd bring out the color in their eyes.

@ShinRo90 It's like the nerd version of Konata's "Being flat-chested is a status symbol" talk.
While some consider Otaku as an insult, some people (like me) are proud to be considered Otaku!

wel not exactly since the red one is always over the green one so failing on this task is impossible, even if you are colorblind.
