Evita's friend says she declined the invitation to meet with Madonna because she deosn't think Madonna was right for the role of "Evita." I'll get back to you about the other things she said.

Yes that is her. Cristina Alvarez Rodriquez doesn't say anything to or about her. But Eloy Martinez goes on the show and says she is a fraud, which I believe a blood test has since proven. I'll try to upload more later, but I'm afraid to upload much more. I don't want my channel deleted.

That's great ! But I'm still not sure if we can call Mrs. Guardo Evita's best friend though. Eva Peron erased her from her circle of friends shortly after her come back from Europe where they had an argument and they never spoke to each other ever again as I read somewhere. It's nice that Mrs. Guardo was (still is ? I don't know if she's alive) classy lady and talks about Evita in a warm and fair manner. People said Eva was sometimes overbearing friend. That was fascinating. Thanks a lot !

You most likely read that in the Fraser/Navarro biography. I had read tha tas well, so I was surprised to see Lilliane described as Evita's "best friend." But I suppose that for that specific era she was.

Yes that must have been Fraser/Navarro book as I own one and consider it one if not only one of the best books written about Eva Perón. Do You know by any chance is Mrs. Guardo is still alive ? And do you know how is Evita's only one living sister doing ? Seńora Blanca Duarte I believe.
