Both bands are great. In past interviews, Alex has said that he didn't think this was a great cover, but they had fun doing it. Also, Albert tweeted about how much he liked the Arctic Monkeys and then tweeted links to videos of them covering The Strokes.

I love the strokes, I know all their songs and same with the arctic monkeys but Matt is clearly the better drummer. Only two strokes songs have impressive drumming that I can't do. The Arctic Monkeys have more then 10. I like Nick and Albert more then Jamie but besides that arctic monkeys dominate the strokes. Sorry for the unpopular opinion.

I'm not shitting you. Yes, this performance is not GREAT but, honestly barley any of the Strokes performances are even good. Albert and Nick mess up on an embarrassing level. I know Jules voice is auto-tuned (At least for Angles) and he really can't sound good live. Alex has a great voice, possibly the best of anyone right now. Another point being, this is not the Arctic Monkeys song but they still do it better. Sorry Alex's accent just isn't as good as Jules' synthetic voice btw.
