Everywhere I've read, Universal is celebrating their 100th Anniversary this year, 2012. It's impossible for this compilation of Universal logos to have been revealed for their 95th Anniversary in 2011 because I've seen that compilation years before on other Universal releases.

I take it that the new logo (if there is to be one) would still have the NBC Universal byline under the globe, albeit a new globe.

@ketchupmanor For some strange reason Universal times its anniversaries from the opening of Universal City in 1915, rather than the start of Universal Pictures.

Universal and Paramount battle it out over which is the older company.

Based on what Comcast did to the NBC Universal logo, it's likely that the real 95th anniversary logo will look like something out of MS Paint.
