  • We must face it, unfortunatetly or not, not everyone is able to understand music the way we do. Perhaps its genetic, fisiologic. But the fact is that only a reduced amount of people is able to enjoy sofisticated music, and that should explain what happens to music nowadays, and what people likes to hear at.

  • @ownedwinful Very well put.

  • VIVE LA FRANCE::!!!!

  • don't like his voice. its to dark beside her voice.

  • @Affetanzt She is a soprano and he is a bass! Of course his voice is dark!

  • @MrFpam

i don't think that they fix together. his voice overcover her voice. bass should attend the soprano. maybe its just my view :D

  • yes i'm from st rémy lès chevreuse rue d'assas l'abeille for impérator2403

  • It's about two men a Spaniard and Frenchman fighting for the love of a native american woman who isn't interested. ;) But when i listen to it I see Victorians dancing. Something more raunchy than the waltz. These Victorians are repressed dammit!! They need a serious outlet!! Maybe Victorians doing the Tango? Now that would be something!!! ha ;)

  • CHEVREUSE

  • @MrPinteur1 You're from Chrevreuse ?!! I'm from Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse !!!

  • @n00dles3000 Joke?

    Bitch Please -.-!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Very thought provoking

  • At last I have found out what this magnificient piece of music is called.

Just cannot get it out of my head.

  • WARNING!

After listening to this wonderful melody you will be never be able to get it out of your head! LOL

It keeps on popping up in the most unexpected places (and other pieces of music) but I love it still for all that.

  • Awesome!

Bold, intelligent and absolutely delightful performance with all ingredients in place - music, orchestra, great conductor and wonderful baroque style singers.

    Minkowski rules!

  • I love French Baroque and Minkowsky and his musicians.

  • Something immediately grabs you about this: it sounds quite modern: as does some of Purcell's music! Ab fab!

  • I think I'm responsible for most of the views on this particular video...

  • maybe it is too fast

  • Isn't it "les sauvages"? I thought it was an instrumental piece. But it's fabulous in this rendition.

  • bravo

  • Thank you soooo much !!!

  • super music

  • Magnifique

  • Marvelous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • braviiiiiiiiiii

  • J'suis amoureux de la fille...

  • @Mautpassant également.

  • 34 2Pac fans disliked this.

  • How could you ever dislike this....

  • This is an absolutely fantastic piece of music! Minkowsky tends to play his music a bit faster than normal but I love it. It gives it a modern swing...

  • That's a big concert hall! Who performed this wonderful piece? Does anyone know what that percussion instrument in the back is called (the musician was hitting it with a stick)?

  • Antmenah has written, 07-12-2011,

A vibrant and classical music poem

  • I hear Bieber is covering Rameau on his next album.

  • @TreyToy NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

This better be a joke and if it is it ain't funny!

  • @TreyToy Yes, but who will last and still be played and enjoyed the longer?

  • @TreyToy God forbid!

  • @TreyToy FML then

  • These 33 thumbs down people are not worthy of their ears, please cut them off.

  • Yes!

  • After 400 years, we are reduced from this to Lady GAGA.

  • @LordMSh Lady Gaga?

    Who?she suck ._.

    Rameau is a legend :)

  • @Lilithxchan Yes, she definitely does.

  • @LordMSh Brilliant, and so true.

  • @LordMSh It's quite sad

  • Beautiful and powerful.

  • I love this music!

  • Magali Leger is definitely heaven-sent. Ladies, if you want to get your man, get a mindset and a smile like she has at 2:30.

  • @echosierra95

  • Be warned this music can give brainorgasm.

  • Pam pam pam pam ! j'adore !

  • Fantastic!

  • Can`t enough of this. Wonderful!

  • They are deaf!!!!!!

  • Sublime

  • our song :D we are playing it :D ima the cello =D

  • It's probably illegal for a conductor to have more fun than this guy.

  • Fantastic piece of music. She's a real looker. She gives him a look at 2:30 that suggests his luck might just be in....! Lucky devil!

  • What a glorious musical celebration of life!!

  • Magali Leger ? maman, je suis amoureux !

  • the choir are they hired professionals ??

  • @pastasalademmm no man, they are selected randomly from the audience, and paid to sing for the night... lol... what a question :O

  • @ghetzy13 lol I was so interested to see what this pastasalademmm person said after seeing your comment that I scrolled through like five or six pages of comments and it was well worth it in the end lol!!! :D

  • @TheUnparalleled0ne hehe... I was simply amazed myself to see his question tbh... so I had to reply his silly question... I usually don't mock people, but wow... that was just.... speachless ... :)

  • @pastasalademmm I think they of course are hired professionals. They absolutely seem to be.

  • Sir(s): If I may, Thank you.

  • Braavooo!

  • As much as this sounds like a 17th Century Mettallica instrumental, the women at the back are the most interesting. They have that insane, jealous look like that they want to kill Magali Leger and shove her guts down Laurent Naouri's skinny throat! Smile or no Smile.... I think she's doomed!

  • GENIUS!!!!

  • Trop rapide!!! Où l'ironie solemnelle de cette pièce?

  • Maravilloso

  • Wow! She is gorgeous ! The music is fantastic!

  • beautiful, beautiful, beautiful

  • is there a way to get full video of this concert. i found many parts on youtube but need full video, please help!

  • 29 jealous people with taste of cheese in their mouth could save their opinion,

A good idea for them is to go and dedicate to rap

  • @jogejoge100 Come on, grow up. I understand you don't agree with whoever disliked this video, but their opinion is their opinion. While this is one my favorite piece of music, I still find some rap exciting to listen to. Does me loving one genre prevent me from loving another? No.

There is undoubtedly someone who loves Lil Wayne and comes and cries to this.

  • and he's a L. of Giovanni Battista Lulli

  • im sad this doesnt have MUCH more views because i LOVEEEE this song :DD

  • Tres riche!

  • Anyone who cannot be infected with the vitality and musicality of this music and this particular performance is a dead soul indeed!

    Marvelous. Smile indeed ~ "It's a parTy!"

  • ça parle si bien à mon âme!!

  • 29 idiots dislike this...

  • @Lilithxchan

What can you expect form the "American Idol" crowd? They worship mediocrity.

It's their right, isn't ? De coloribus et gustibus non disputandum...

  • @Lilithxchan Alas, Mediocrity is the new religion of the world...

  • @Lilithxchan They are reggeatoneros jajaja

  • @Breezeway3 Or beliebers,littlemonsters,jonaticas,etc jajajaja

  • @Lilithxchan These idiots is a small dot in front of all those who admired this masterly work !!!!!

  • @polyeides can Natalie Dessay be more jealous of her with that naughty and bright smile? hahah :) :D

  • C'est absolument fabuleux. It's just fabulous. What a rythm ! It's soooo pop !

  • Quel compositeur, ce Jean-Philippe Rameau !

    Et quels interprètes !

    Dans le ton approprié.

  • She's well cute... and that Tenor with the designer beard is garbage! A man who like's to take it Jean-Phillipe Rameaud up his arse!

  • Thanks so much for sharing it!!! :)

  • Tempo peut-être un peu trop rapide non ?

  • @ColonelHarry Non!!

  • I love this a lot

  • Bravo!Bravo!Bravo!

  • French barroque Spetacular !

  • très amusant!!!

  • Excellent, j'ai ecouté plusieurs fois! Je suis ravie !

  • @luigiperso Well, I've heard many versions of this and nothing slower. What's your problem?

  • @luigiperso

you're not obliged to give your opinion every week...

we've noticed that it's too fast FOR YOU !

Thanks Minkovsky, Christie, herreweghe... all versions are differents and all are acceptable for the greatest pleasure of human being... and human ears !

    Magali... trop craquante ;)

  • 2:30 ... number one smile on youtube...

  • @polyeides Indeed !

  • ooooh...she's hot!!!

  • @polyeides wow, somebody copied my comment 1:1, i must admit i'm flattered :D

  • @heirihunziker i'm sorry, i read your comment months ago and agreed. it's worth reading, i thought, but couldn't remember you as the author... guilty, sir! let's enjoy this beautiful music - and her smile, of course... ;-)

  • @polyeides don't worry, after all the message is more important than the bringer. it's for the glory of Magali anyway! so i'm sort of like Mephistopheles and you are my Ghost Rider...i mean Ghost Writer. i'll collect your soul later :D

  • Fabuloso se siente la energía!!!

  • Thanks for great world heritage music, so lively, and cheerfully.

  • hermosoooooo

    unico

  • TEMPI bien trop rapide !!!!!!!

  • cher rameaulogue,

  • Just have to love the tempo ;-)

  • slower!!!

  • too fast

  • I wish I lived in Europe.

  • That soprano is cute as a button.

  • Magali Léger and Rameau are the perfect combination!

  • Quelle perfection ! Quelle joie !

  • yeah and she knows that..

ooooh pooor magaliie, should we complain her ? should we ?

  • q hermoso

podria pasarme horas frente a la pantalla ...

  • where can I buy this on DVD please?
