I own the games....graphics are great! gameplay....not so much! the reversal system does not work very well. when i play the computer i might get in a few moves but the majority of the time i'm just watching them kick my ass. gameplay is very fustrating.

THQ are aiming for the most realistic wrestling simulator. Mat wrestling is always added in order to weaken the opponent's limbs. You often see rear waist lock takedowns, side headlocks, and transitioning between these moves. I think this would be a great feature in the form of mini-games throughout the match. It could be given to certain superstars as an ability you can use 3 times a match, and when both wrestlers go for a grapple. You could add this idea to the submission system as well.

@FirefighterMarmo I'm not. Watch any CM Punk match. In a good match you'll see a collar and elbow tie up, transitioned into a side headlock takedown, countered with a headscissors, then into an arm drag, and then into an arm bar submission. You see that kind of stuff all the time in the WWE.

The reason why professional wrestling has adapted forms of Mixed Matial Arts, boxing and theatre is due to the Gold Dust Trio who added these types of combat into the sport because before the 50's wrestling was becoming boring du to the matches lasting ages and the wrestlers being on the ground too long. Why do you have a problem with pro wrestling being fake when movies are anyway?

@FirefighterMarmo World Wrestling Entertainment actually shortened the name of the company to WWE Inc. because they didn't want wrestling to be accociated with it (Even though it always will be). Many types of wrestling are involved including amateur, catch and lucha libre. There is even competition. You get paid to put on a good show, take risks and have all the credentials needed to rise up the ladder. If you mess up, the guy who you're in the ring with will beat you there.

You can even get hurt on purpose, which is called a bump. A lot of guys are injury prone anyway like Sin Cara, Triple H, Kevin Nash and now Randy Orton. It's easy to break a neck out there.

@SuperLilred13 No it's due to many reasons. It's to do with his gimmick, the fact that WWE books him to win 90% of his matches, books him to perform about 5 moves per match. The fact that he is becoming increasingly stale and the fact that many believe he could be replaced by pretty much anyone that's at the top right now. I don't like Cena for most of those reasons stated above. But, I have enough knowledge of the industry to respect him for the hard work he's put in since 2005.

now thq needs to make a wwe attitude era game (featuring the WCW/NWO) with all of the best aspects of wwe 12 and SD:SYM,imagine these graphics and reliving some of the greatest storylines of that time and perhaps slighlty changeing them depending on the course of the game.
