Wow men respect i am an Dead Space 1 VETERAN i finished this game on every difficulty and in a total of 27 times i enjoyed every time but well after so many times the game gets boring anyways i never discovered a bug like THAT thats pretty interesting and funny but not really helpfull in a big battle xD still cool

After it got fixed all my saves were gone and I never tried again since.

On xbox 360, i forget what level it was but there was one of the what do you call them, havn't played the game in a long time, one of the ones like scorpions sort-of? anyway, i was in an anti gravity chamber and i went just inside the doorway of the chamber and the necromorph was levitating in the air where he tried to jump at me, but he wasn't just levitating, it looked like he was chasing his tail! it was epic. I couldn't shoot him though until i moved back in the room..

Well i finished the game on Play3 and that never happened to me.Even in the enemy safe areas the aliens don't retreat.they run around and hide and when you step in they attack.So the retreat thing doesn't really exist.When you and enemy in the same room they attack.They didn't run away not once.I believe this glitch is in pc version?

i didn´t play the game but i believe that is not a glitch. if you see downfall (the anime movie) you will see what EXCACTLY happens before the ship arrives to the ishimura

@juanpablotito it is a glitch when the enemy does not attack in that situation. I have tested this awhile and enemies ALWAYS attack and home in on you when they are in the same room as you. Otherwise they run away or retreat into vents.

Actually they do that because they're scared of being killed,so if you push them,they'll retreat for cover or for more allies.

Um.... sorry to spoil this but in the latest patch you guys cant do this..... they could enter the safe places already unless you go to other rooms but then they willl enter the vent and ambush you in that room...... I'll post a vid with me on a tram room and getting attacked by a necromorph, nice vid anyways keep up the great work

yer I've noticed that if im standing in at a door way even when its open some enemies wont attack you I think its only the little ones that can still come at you I only noticed it last week. Dead Space is a good game I didnt like it at first on the 360 so got it on pc its good that it became an anime an upcoming sequel and soon to be big screen film :) Long Live Dead Space

the bad thing about the glicth is its obvious that ea will remove it in the new game which i think would have bin helpful. example i was playing the game on hardest diff it would help me when the monsters couldnt pass through certain doors i would open the door shoot and open it again and shoot it would take a while but would help out tons

actually, in the plant place lvl, i ran into the huge chamber (one ful of plants and enemys), ran out, ran back in, and killed all of them without them fighting back. helped being on imposable. ty for idea.

The girl in the end is Nicole, Issac's girlfriend. You know? the person he was looking for on the Ishimura, and the whole reason he volunteered for the mission. =P

Consider this though, All Necromorphs were under control of the Hivemind (like the Gravemind to the Flood) once it died, it was stated that all Necromorphs would dissimulate being brain dead. I believe Nicole in the ending was a hallucination; Issac still suffering from the effects of the marker.

The vision of nicole could have been a hallucination, or it could have been me, dressed up as a man-leapeard, patrolling the Irushuma, releasing wind infront-of the Necromorphs faces and scaring the shit out of survivors with my epic scarily talents.
