Janis Joplin's version is my favorite! I like Nina's next and then this one! Oh I just heard this for the first time early this morning on University of Hartford's radio station.
Weird what a lineage this song has, starting with Gershwin and Ella Fitzgerald. I like the Zombies cover a lot and the Janis Joplin version sounds so different as to almost be another song (but also very good).
I saw The Zombies at Hippiefest summer 2007 in Canada and Colin still sounds the same. They were one of the best groups at that concert. (Turtles were good too.)

actually, this song isn't on odessey and oracle. i believe its on "begin here" [1965]
odessey and oracle was released 1967, and 1969 in america.
