I remember making my zack incredibly overpowered and near invincible, just so i could spend over an hour fighting in the last area. I wanted to believe if i just kept fighting, maybe there was an alternative ending, one where zack doesnt die. Sadly, they just keep coming..

I don't think the song in itself is THAT sad, but when you've played Crisis Core... I was literally trembling when I played the last scenes of the game.

Definately the cruelest game I've ever played. Well... cruel in the way that you KNOW that there's no hope for Zack, he IS going to die, but the game won't let you just... watch it. NO - you yourself have to fight till the end...

Funny how a spinoff can make me appreciate FFVII so much more. I really dislike the PSX game however this was more interesting for me. I enjoyed seeing Zack's side of the story, especially the ending. That was very well done.

Man zack went out like a trooper, gangsta, soldier, how ever you call it. But if Angile would of not killed him self fighting zack he would of lived......well i guess every thing must come to a end sometime. This scene touched me in a way haha i could of cry to it haha

damn this one actually kinda got me. not the song so much as remembering what happened in game. the last fight in the game was one of the most well done in creating the sense of struggle and fighting for your last breath.

I definatly have to agree on this song. Knowing zack HAS to die yet he continues to fight is sad enough, but this song just makes it soooooo sad. I would do this point of the game so many many times just to hear this song.

I have never been able to go through the end of this game without wanting to cry, largely due to this song and the part it plays at. I believe firmly that there has never been nor ever be a better end to a videogame. Anyone who says otherwise just hasn't played this part of Crisis Core. I knew it was coming the entire game but never to this extent that they made it. This song is absolutely amazing.

The cool thing about this game is that kids that are younger and never played FF7 dont know how this game is going to end, and it hits them by surprise!

You can also play Suikoden I and II, which are one of the greatest RPG games of PS1. Very touching, and serious game, especially Suikoden II. They will bring out full emotions out of ya.
