I remember how she shot spider. Yes, she did get away with it. she's married now to the atty who defended her and lives a quiet life right there in Aspen I believe. She always appeared to be so sweet & innocent when she was married to Andy Williams & would be on his show with her kids. Poor Spider.

Yes, but "convicted" murderess was convicted on a lesser charge, and only got 30 days in the Pritkin County Jail (and before starting her jail sentence, she was allowed to vacation in Mexico with her defense attorney, who had just left his wife & kids for Claudine!) Still, a great flick. In my opinion, Peter Seller's best.

If only REAL Hollywoood parties were this much fun! More often than not they were (during my Hollywood years) deadly dull & painfully slow affairs, where individuals went to 'be seen' and not heard. This film was also interesting due the co-starring role of convicted murderess Claudine Longet!

Interesting movie... the song by Mancini that is sung by Longet at the end, "Nothing to Lose" is really great.  Wish I could get invited to a party like that!
