Thanks, it worked for me and I only had the alchemist perk up to lvl 3.

I ended up making armor breaking in the millions. Then, I stacked it all up to keep the power coming XD.

In the end, I got my armor rating past the billions.

Ok so i made a fortify smithing potion but when i drink it, it tells me i cant upgrade the armor cause i lack the skill, what am i doing wrong?

@Soberus7Agave you have to have the perk for ur specific type of armor. like i have 100 smithing, but i didn't have the perk for a while, so i couldnt cant make dragon armor.

Well it worked to get from 9 to 10% fortify alchemy but wont get any higher i unequipped my armor as well. I am confused.

I think I know exactly how he made that potion... I know exactly how to do it... and to think that my testing works out this much...I came from making60 to 489, new number I dunno what it will be but still. very nice with it. the potion is very much to be expected what I hoped it would be. although I got to admit this trick requires alot of ingredients, certain apparel, and alot of grand souls....he either had pc, or he had alot of supplies...I made the fortify smithing potion of 489% on 360...

I have no perks in alchemy and only 3 in enchanting. When creating the four peices of gear I end up with each at 12% stronger potions. Then when I get the first restoration potion (increase 38%), each of my gear goes up to 16%...then when I do it again my restoration potion is at around 42%ish and that makes my gear only go up to 17%...and for some reason it hits a limit and stays around this amount (no matter how many potions i make). what do i do?

i think its patched, just did it and the max i got was fortify smithing 49% after making about 12 fortify restoration potions. every time i made 1 i drank it, un and re equipped my alchemy gear and repeated it 12 times. my fortify smithing was only 49% :( fortifty enchanting was only 12!)

567 is the armor cap guys :/ but I hate the look of daedric/dragon heavy armors, and I invested all my perks with heavy armor so now I can up my fav armor ( steel/steel plate) to the cap! Thank you! ( Also guys if you want to up your enchanting/alchemy quick look up the orghra infinum book glitch, it levels up 5 points per read!)

I also recommend doing this after beating the game because you bought the game for a challenge, amirite?

This is a really interesting glitch, thanks for sharing. I'll probably use it with a secondary character after I finished the game with my main. The last thing I want is to make the game easier, I've already had to turn the difficulty up to max to keep this game challenging. If a game isn't challenging I don't enjoy it at all.

@Black2WhiteGaming if u drink the potion than unequip sumthn tht has fortify carrying capicity than equip it again yeh ur max gets higher. t make it permanent make the fortify enchanting potion, than enchant a complete new piece of equipment with fortify carrying capacity or wutvr its called.

You could just wear some boots because the armor benefit actually caps at 567 (80% damage reduction), and you could just wear a pair of hide boots and have all enchanted clothes. Making you not have to carry around all that extra armor. Also, you wouldn't have to use the Steed Stone anymore because of the weight of armor. Just look on the Elder Scrolls Wiki on the Dragon Armor page.

@tc197676 it appears randomly in alchemy shops. revisit em over n over after 48hrs n visit different ones.all th shops restock after 48 hrs thers one in whiterun called arcadia's cauldron nd one in riften called elgrim's elixirs for example but thers 1 in every main town. jus go bak nn forth til u find it cuz by the time u visit one store nd go bak t a different one in a different town it'll hav restocked. its faster than jus waiting

@TheDrphil07 its the house in markarth, u get the option to buy it after u do missions for the jarl in markarth. to get the missions talk to him in the understone keep. u cnt miss him hes sittin on his throne nxt t sum old dude nd sum chick. im not sure if u gata do missions from the old dude as well but id accept 1 mission from him jus in case.
