I get acne like twice to three times a month.. And most of the time, it's always the horrible kind of acne. D: Like it's EXTREMELY noticeable, and it's quite painful when touched. Just very uncomfortable, thus, I always find myself popping them because it's just so ugly and annoying. ;-; Then the result would be like a little scar. ;-; So depressing.. @lyndsie92 just because it's an oil doesn't automatically mean it will break you out.. it depends on your skin and what works for you. If oily products are more known to break you out then don't use it.. but if not then give it a try :)

The acne on one side of your face might be from your pillow or your phone so wipe your phone down with a disinfectant and change your pillow case frequently

Scars are in the dermal basement - no topical product can repair or rejuvenate damaged skin. Try fractional or eMatrix treatments - they do work. They aren't cheap, but you'll waste just as much on topical products in the end. Microdermabrasion and chemical peels can help, but micros only affect the stratum corneum, but there are deep peels that can resurface, but have to be administered by a doctor and you will have downtime from this treatment.

just some advice to people to add to this video. If you have break outs, you should not use any products with sands in it because it WILL , not CAN, but WILL spread and make you break out more. And i know this from experience and you can even ask a dermatologist. What it does is, it breaks open the acne and gets deep into the skin, and breads the infection accross your face. You must get rid on your break outs first, and then you can use sands and stuff so you can get rid of scars and such

I follow a differant skin routine myself; but the mint julip mask she at work. I'm 25&have delt with BAD acne since I was 12;so,I know what it's like to go thru severe acne breakouts&what it take to maintain clear skin.First:Drink a TON of water,all day every day:Your skin is the largest organ&needs to be hydrated&cleansed from the inside.Don't overwash or use harsh products like alchohol or rough exfolliators.Use gentler products with microbeads/salicylic acid.Wash pillowcases often&DONT PICK!

Microbeads and salicylic acid are still relatively harsh products. If a product has BEADS or ACID in its name then it isn't very gentle. They're both geared towards exfoliating which is something you're not supposed to do every day. My advice: if you have sensitive skin, don't use acne products. Plain and simple. Acne products all have one thing in common and that's a drying agent. Acne products actually make your skin worse especially if you have sensitive skin.
