one thing, how did blake lively sound bored?, just wondering cause when i saw it she actually sounded pretty good, ? and how did the guardians get their big heads and why do they think that their way is the best way?

Peter Sarsgaard's performance in the film was Razzie worthy. He had me laughing yelling and crying about his daddy issues as Hector Hammond. He's probably the worst comic book movie villain for this year so far.

Ooooh also the guardians didn't have names originally because they didn't believe in individuality and Hector Hammond is childhood friends with Hal and a total perv who goes into Hal's mind to watch him have sex with various girls. Also parallax in the comics possessed Hal after coast city was destroyed and he destroyed the entire green lantern core. They did rape parallax in the movie. Oh well. Here's hoping for a better sequel

I actually really liked the movie. It defiantly had it's issues but it wasn't unwatchable. It was pretty cool. However with a character like green lantern the director could have done so much more. I felt like I was watching a comic book movie but I want this movie to succeed because i want a second one that will fulfill my fangirl fantasy and a jl movie

Its funny because the 1stdraft had LEGION, the Guardians original protector as the villain instead Having the Lanterns MAIN villan in the first film is dumb(Green Goblin in Spider-Man). It should have been Legion,in a sequel Sinestro & Star Sapphire then Paralax in the 3rd film. But no badass teamup of EVERY Lantern on Oa &Hal charging the battery and his hair turning a streak of whit, hinting at his eventual insanity in the script,instead its just some generic fight in the final film

Honestly, I didnt mind the parrallax origin change, granted I would have preferred if they stayed true to the origin in the comics, but I was satisfed with how they interpreted parrallax. I do agree with the Sinestro taking the ring at the end, there was no build up or development whatsoever of Sinestro, so him taking the ring at the end made no sense. The movie was dissapointing, but I didnt think it was bad, just ok.

I think with the "guardian flying into a bug zapper thing" was more supposed to represent being corrupted by the power of fear, same way Sinestro was. Difference being, Sinestro was corrupted by a single ring's worth, the Guardian was corrupted by the entire force altogether, which is why he was transformed in the first place.
