Back when the Free album was released, I remember reading in one of the teen magazine that they were working on a video for Let's Get Right Down To It for MTV. Does anyone know if that was true and whatever happened to the project? I was left with the impression it was scrapped due to the song's content but now I'm wondering if it was more that Damon had left the group.

@mrsmckinney2010 Chase has a facebook & a youtube channel. He is still making music & he was working at a sort of music academy for kids called "The School of Rock," (in Southern California). Until a yr or 2 ago, he did a lot of performances with fellow MMC alumni, Tony Lucca. I LOVED meeting them & going to their shows. DeeDee Magno has had a sucessful career in theatre & acting. Damon & Albert had something going, but pumped the brakes, (check NDecent Proposal). Tiff sort of disappeared.

Plus over a year ago, someone posted their entire albums In the Meantime in between Time and The Party's Over Thanks for Coming. Someone also posted all of their concerts that appeared on the Disney Channel. As of june 2010, there is nothing on here as if someone deleted all their songs and appearances. What the hell happened?

I remember... I was 12 and The Party played at the amusement park down the street from my house. I was obsessed with them at the time and my friend called to tell me she was there and they were opening for Color Me Badd. I CRIED SO HARD!!!!! LOL I was such a teeny bopper!

OMG! I loved The Party! Besides Tiffany & Debbie Gibson a.k.a Deborah Gibson. I was a hugh fan of theirs! I wanted to go to their tour when they came in town but never gotten the chance to! The Party had some hugh hits, I remember the radio stations playing them like crazy. Well at least in my town they did. Good times! ;-)

I first heard of this band when they opened up for Color Me Badd in the early 90's. I fell in love w/ them!! I pulled one of the guys off the stage-the one that did the "rap" part of this song. He was cool about it. It was in Lincoln, NE. I went out the next day and bought their tape the next day. They are truely an awesome band! Wish they would do some more stuff today!!

Teddy also produced the track being that he is/was a Producer. I am very familiar with Teddy's practices in the studio, when he was still at Uptown Records. He's was a major influence on Sean "Puffy" Combs - who was also at Uptown under Andrea Harrell.

Oh, yes its Teddy Playing the keys on the track. His style is unmistakable because the syncopation is on everyone of his produces tracks. For example,its on Johnny Kemp's Just got paid, all of Guy's tracks, Heavy D and the Boyz, Rex N Effect, Almost Bobby Brown My prerogative, the sound was called the new jack swing, Teddy's signature that he left on all his produced music.
